Removing Collected Water
- Use the bucket: When the bucket is full, carefully remove it and empty the water.
- Continuous draining: Water can be automatically drained via a water hose attached to the dehumidifier's drain hose outlet. A female threaded end may be required (not included on all models).
- Note: Do not use continuous draining when the outdoor temperature is 32°F (0°C) or below, as freezing may occur, blocking the hose and potentially damaging the dehumidifier.
- Ensure the hose connection is tight and leak-free.
- Route the water hose to a floor drain or suitable drainage facility that is lower than the dehumidifier's drain outlet.
- Ensure the hose slopes downward for smooth water flow.
- When not using continuous draining, remove the drain hose from the outlet.
