Product Overview

The Mi Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2 is a compact device designed to track ambient temperature and humidity.

Device Components:

• Front: Features the display screen.
• Top Ventilation Holes: Located on the top for air circulation. Do not obstruct.
• Accessory Port: A port for accessories.
• Cord Hole: Located on the side for threading a cord (requires back cover removal).
• Back: Includes ventilation holes and a cover opening.
• Adhesive Area: Located on the back for attaching the adhesive sticker.

Installation

Battery Installation

Remove the back cover from the monitor. Insert one CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Reattach the cover. (Note: Battery is not included and sold separately.)

Placement Options:

• a. Placement: Place the monitor directly on furniture surfaces such as desks or bookshelves.
• b. Using Adhesive Sticker: Peel off the backing from one side of the sticker, attach it to the back of the monitor, then peel off the other side and stick it to your desired location on the wall.
• c. Hanging: Remove the monitor's back cover. Thread the loop of a cord through the cord hole and around the hook. Reattach the back cover, then hang the monitor. (Note: Cord is not included and sold separately.)

Display Explanation

The monitor's screen displays key information:

• Temperature: Shows the current temperature, typically in Celsius (°C).
• Humidity: Shows the current relative humidity (%).
• Comfort Level Symbol: Indicates the perceived comfort based on temperature and humidity.
  • Temperature Comfort:
    • Below 19°C: Cold
    • 19°C to 27°C: Comfortable
    • Above 27°C: Hot
  • Humidity Comfort:
    • Below 20%: Dry
    • 20% to 85%: Comfortable
    • Above 85%: Humid
• Data Transfer Symbol: Indicates active data transfer.
• Temperature Unit: Displays the unit for temperature (°C).
• Low Battery Symbol: Appears when the battery level is low. Please replace the battery. (?)

Smart Connectivity

Connecting with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App

This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Control your device and interact with other smart home devices.

Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in your app store.

Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap the "+" icon (➕) in the top right corner, and follow the instructions to add your device.

(Note: The app is called Xiaomi Home in Europe (excluding Russia). Use the app name displayed on your device.)

(Note: App versions may be updated; follow instructions based on the current app version.)

Connecting with Other Devices

Ensure your temperature and humidity monitor is connected to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Tap the menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the monitor's user interface, then follow the on-screen instructions to connect to other smart devices.

(Note: The monitor can only connect to devices that support the Mi Bluetooth Gateway functionality. Contact customer service for details.)

Factory Reset

While the monitor is operating normally, remove the back cover and use a conductive material to connect the two contact points on the battery for approximately 5-8 seconds. The monitor will restart with factory settings restored, and previously saved data will be erased.

Daily Maintenance & Care

Prevent water from entering the monitor during cleaning. If the monitor's surface becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth using a small amount of neutral detergent.

Precautions

• Do not immerse ventilation holes in any liquid.
• If attached with an adhesive sticker, do not forcibly remove the monitor from the wall to avoid damaging the wall or monitor.
• This monitor is not suitable for use in environments with temperatures below 0°C. Keep away from harsh environments with high temperatures or high humidity.
• This monitor is designed to facilitate a healthy lifestyle but should not be used as a measurement instrument.
