02. OVERALL VIEW
The AIWA GBTUR-120MKII features a turntable platter, tonearm with stylus, tonearm rest with securing clip, speed selector, power/volume knob, function mode selector, USB port, SD card slot, and RCA output jacks.
03. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
Connect the provided power cord to the DC IN socket located on the rear of the turntable. Plug the other end into a standard wall power outlet.
04. SECURE AND RELEASE THE TONEARM
The tonearm is secured at its rest with a clip. To release the tonearm for playback, lift it gently from the rest. A cueing lever is provided to safely raise and lower the tonearm onto the record surface.
05. POWER ON/OFF & VOLUME
To turn the unit on and adjust the volume, turn the large knob located on the front panel clockwise. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to power off the turntable.
06. SPEED 33 / 45 / 78 RPM
Select the appropriate playback speed for your vinyl record using the speed selector switch. Options include 33 1/3 RPM, 45 RPM, and 78 RPM.
07. 45 RPM ADAPTOR
For vinyl records with a large center hole, such as 7-inch singles, place the included 45 RPM adaptor onto the turntable spindle before placing the record.
08. CHANGE THE FUNCTION MODE
Use the function selector dial to switch between different operating modes: RADIO, BLUETOOTH, USB, or SD CARD. The selected mode is typically indicated on a display.
09. MUSIC PLAYBACK (USB/SD CARD & BT MODES)
In USB, SD CARD, and BLUETOOTH modes, use the playback control buttons: PLAY/PAUSE [▶️/⏸️], NEXT [▶️▶️], and PREVIOUS [◀️◀️]. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for 2 seconds to stop playback.
10. DELETE THE SONG CURRENTLY PLAYING
To remove the currently playing song from the USB or SD card, press and hold the DELETE button for 2 seconds.
11. BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Set the function mode to BLUETOOTH. The unit will enter pairing mode, often indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for "AIWA GBTUR-120MKII" and select it to initiate pairing. Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth icon will typically stop flashing.
12. MUSIC PLAYBACK (FROM BLUETOOTH DEVICE)
After establishing a Bluetooth connection, music played from your connected device will be output through the turntable's speakers. You can often control playback (play, pause, skip tracks) using the turntable's playback buttons, provided the connected device supports this functionality.
13. FM RADIO FUNCTION
Select the RADIO mode using the function selector. Use the tuning controls (dial or buttons) to scan for and tune into FM radio stations. The frequency of the selected station will be displayed.
14. RCA CONNECTION
For connection to an external audio system, such as an amplifier or powered speakers, utilize the RCA output jacks located on the rear panel. Connect standard RCA cables from these jacks to the appropriate AUX or LINE IN inputs on your external audio equipment.
15. RECORD FROM VINYL OR BLUETOOTH TO MP3
To record audio from vinyl records or a Bluetooth-connected device to a digital format, insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective slot. Play the vinyl or Bluetooth source. Press the RECORD button [⏺️] to begin recording. Press the RECORD button again to stop the recording process. The audio will be saved as an MP3 file on the inserted USB drive or SD card.
