Subject of Declaration
This declaration applies to all products manufactured and distributed by LOGICDATA, particularly electromechanical drive systems and their components.
1. RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU (including (EU) 2015/863)
Our products comply with the requirements of the RoHS Directive, including the amendment by Directive (EU) 2015/863. The hazardous substances listed in Annex II are not found in the products above the permissible limit values, unless otherwise stated.
Substances with limit values:
- Lead (Pb)
- Mercury (Hg)
- Cadmium (Cd)
- Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI)
- PBB, PBDE (brominated flame retardants)
- DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP (phthalates)
RoHS Exemptions:
Certain substances and components contain materials approved under specific exemptions according to Annex III of the directive. These include, for example:
- Lead in ceramic dielectrics (7(c)-I)
- Lead in solder used for special electronic connections (point 7(a))
2. REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC & Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
In accordance with EC Regulation 1907/2006 ("REACH"), we continuously monitor updates to the candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
LOGICDATA aims to avoid the use of SVHCs and to comply with the legally stipulated limit values (0.1% by weight in homogeneous substances). In individual cases, e.g., for technical necessity or applicable RoHS exemptions, the concentration of SVHCs may still exceed 0.1% (by weight).
To the relevant extent, we fulfill our obligations under Article 33 of REACH and Article 9 of the Waste Framework Directive ((EU) 2008/98). Specifically, products compliant with SVHC content > 0.1% (by weight) have been fully registered in the ECHA SCIP database. These database entries enable transparent traceability of hazardous substances throughout the supply chain and support disposal and recycling processes within the EU.
3. Regulation (EU) 2024/573 on F-gases & Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases
We confirm that our products do not contain fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) and are not covered by the product categories of Regulation (EU) 2024/573.
The regulation particularly applies to:
- Air conditioners
- Refrigerating cabinets
- Heat pumps
- Fire extinguishing systems
- Aerosols with F-gases
Our products:
- do not contain F-gases, neither in pure form nor as components of parts,
- are manufactured and operated without F-gases, and
- fully comply with the requirements of the regulation.
4. Regulation (EU) 2017/852 on Mercury
Our products do not contain mercury and are not among the product types listed in Annex II of the regulation.
Affected product categories (selection):
- Mercury-containing measuring instruments (thermometers, barometers, pressure gauges)
- Lamps (e.g., fluorescent lamps containing mercury)
- Switches and relays with mercury contacts
- Dental fillings / amalgam
- Cosmetics containing mercury compounds
LOGICDATA drive systems and their components/manual switches:
- do not contain mercury-containing switches or relays,
- do not use mercury-containing components, and
- therefore comply with Regulation (EU) 2017/852.
Basis of Declaration
This declaration is based on internal assessments, technical documentation, and supplier information. It applies to all product variants currently sold within the aforementioned device groups.
Commitment
LOGICDATA is committed to regularly monitoring relevant EU regulations and integrating all resulting requirements into product design, material selection, and the supply chain.
