Connection Diagrams
SPI Mode: Connect the power supply (DC5V-24V) to the INPUT terminals (V+, V-). The output terminals (SPI, GND, DATA) connect to an SPI LED strip (supports single color, CCT, RGB, RGBW, RGBCCT). Maximum pixels supported: 1024.
DMX Mode: Connect the power supply (DC5V-24V) to the INPUT terminals (V+, V-). The output terminals (DMX, GND, B, A) connect to a DMX LED strip (supports single color, CCT, RGB, RGBW, RGBCCT). Supported DMX speeds and pixel counts: 250Kbps (Max 256 Pixels), 500Kbps (Max 512 Pixels), 750Kbps (Max 768 Pixels).
Note: Switching the output mode requires selection via the app.
Application Diagram
The system can be controlled via a smartphone app (TUYA SMART) using BLE or Wi-Fi. It can also be integrated with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Home, potentially through a gateway/router.

Pairing and Unpairing Remotes
Linking (Pairing) a Remote:
- Turn off the power for 10 seconds, then turn it back on, or briefly press the "SET" button on the controller.
- Within 3 seconds, briefly press the "ON" button on the remote control three times.
- The controller's indicator light will flash green, indicating successful pairing.
Note: If the indicator light does not flash, repeat the steps. Pairing cannot be redone if the remote is already paired.
Unlinking (Unpairing) a Remote:
- Turn off the power for 10 seconds, then turn it back on, or briefly press the "SET" button on the controller.
- Within 3 seconds, briefly press the "ON" button on the remote control five times.
- The controller's indicator light will flash red, indicating successful unpairing.
Note: If the light does not flash, repeat the steps. Unpairing is not necessary if the light was never paired.
Smartphone App Control (TUYA SMART)
Network Pairing:
- Download and install the "TUYA SMART" app from your app store or by scanning the provided QR code. Register or log in.
- Connect the controller to the power source. Ensure the indicator light flashes rapidly (twice per second). If not, long-press the "SET" button or cycle power 6 times.
- Connect your smartphone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Open the TUYA SMART app, tap the "+" icon, then navigate to "Lighting" > "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)" and follow the on-screen instructions.
App Features:
- Static Mode: Set or save static lighting effects.
- Dynamic Mode: Choose from 28 white colors and 80 RGB colors. Save favorite modes and scenes. Adjust color, brightness, width, and speed.
- Music Mode: 8 music modes utilize built-in or smartphone microphones to sync lights with music.
- Settings: Adjust communication protocol (SPI/DMX), LED strip type (Single Color, CCT, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT), pixel points, color calibration, and power-on animation.
- Timer Function: Schedule lighting on/off times.
- DND Mode: Enable Do Not Disturb mode for energy saving.
Voice Control Integration
Alexa Voice Control:
- Add the device to the "Tuya Smart" app.
- Open the Alexa app.
- Navigate to "More" > "Skills & Games".
- Tap the search icon (magnifying glass).
- Search for "Smart life".
- Enable the "Smart life" skill and follow the instructions to link your account and enable voice control.
Google Home Voice Control:
- Add the device to the "Tuya Smart" app.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top left corner.
- Tap "Set up device".
- Tap "Works with Google".
- Search for "Smart life".
- Enable the "Smart life" service and follow the instructions to link your account and enable voice control.
Important Notes
- Turn off the power before installation.
- Ensure the input voltage matches the device's requirements.
- Do not disassemble the device without proper expertise, as it may cause damage.
- Avoid using the light near metal surfaces or strong electromagnetic interference, as it can affect the wireless range.
