HAVSEN Kitchen Sink Installation
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing your HAVSEN kitchen sink. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning.
Before You Begin
The HAVSEN kitchen sink is made of fine fire clay and complies with requirements for durability and cleanability. Ensure you have all the necessary tools and materials before starting the installation.
Tools Required:
- Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
- Jigsaw
- Drill with Ø 35 mm (1 3/8") drill bit
- Drill with 10 mm (3/8") drill bit
- File
- Silicone sealant (not included)
Note: Silicone sealant is not included. To prevent water from penetrating the countertop in case of leakage, the cut edges must be sealed with silicone.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Countertop
Place the sink upside down on the countertop to trace its outline. Ensure the sink is positioned correctly.

Step 2: Mark the Cutout
Mark the cutting line for the countertop based on the sink's dimensions. Typically, this involves marking the inner edge of the sink's flange.

Step 3: Cut the Countertop Opening
Using a jigsaw, carefully cut along the marked line to create the opening for the sink. Ensure the cut is precise.

Step 4: Smooth the Edges
Use a file to smooth the cut edges of the countertop opening. This ensures a clean fit for the sink and helps with sealing.

Step 5: Drill Holes for Fixtures
Drill pilot holes for any fixtures or accessories that will be mounted on the countertop, such as a faucet or soap dispenser. Use the specified drill bit sizes (e.g., Ø 35 mm for a faucet hole).

Step 6: Prepare the Sink
Ensure the underside of the sink and the countertop edge are clean and dry. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the underside of the sink's rim.
