Ports and Connectors
3.5mm Headphone Port + Line Out Port
This port is for general earphones, including those with three-ring plugs or four-ring plugs with inline controls or microphones. It supports inline control functions like previous track, next track, and play/pause. The port also provides a line-out function for connecting to external audio equipment.
You can use a step-down cable to connect to this port if your headphones have a large 1/4" plug.
The analog line out can be accessed using a standard 3.5mm auxiliary cable.
Important: Do not connect balanced earphones (those with three-ring plugs that do not have a microphone or remote button) to this port. Use an appropriate step-down cable to connect them to the 2.5mm balanced headphone port instead.
2.5mm Balanced Headphone Port
This port is designed for balanced headphones that use a 2.5mm balanced headphone plug. Please do not use adapters to connect single-ended earphones to this port.
