This port is for general earphones, including those with three-ring plugs or four-ring plugs with inline controls or microphones. It supports inline control functions like previous track, next track, and play/pause. The port also provides a line-out function for connecting to external audio equipment.

You can use a step-down cable to connect to this port if your headphones have a large 1/4" plug.

The analog line out can be accessed using a standard 3.5mm auxiliary cable.

Important: Do not connect balanced earphones (those with three-ring plugs that do not have a microphone or remote button) to this port. Use an appropriate step-down cable to connect them to the 2.5mm balanced headphone port instead.

2.5mm Balanced Headphone Port

Type-C Port

The Type-C port is used for data transmission, charging, and coaxial digital output. A special Type-C to 3.5mm coaxial cable is required for coaxial digital output. This cable can be purchased from the official HiBy store or local dealers. Note that this cable is specifically designed for the R3 and R3 Pro.
