Firmware Update VSA-LX805

Pioneer is pleased to offer this firmware update for the best possible performance of your AV Receiver.

This update may be installed via USB or Network.

Model: VSA-LX805

Current Version: R121-0607-1132-0133

The 07/01/2025 update will address the following and includes previous updates:

  1. Fix an issue where the DLBC (Dirac Live Base Control)/DLBM (Dirac Live Base Management) crossover was applied incorrectly. After applying the update, please re-export/transfer the filter (target EQ) to each slot.
  2. Minor bug fixes and improvements stability.

The 03/12/2025 update will address the following:

  1. Stability is improved and minor bugs are fixed.

The 11/18/2024 update will address the following:

  1. Google Cast 2.0. The method for network connection will be changed. For details please refer here: https://assets.pioneerhomeusa.com/product-manuals/SN29404182_CAST2.0_Pio_241025.pdf
  2. Support Tidal MAX
  3. Improve the Dirac Live measurement on the Pioneer Application.
  4. Minor bug fixes and improves stability.

The 04/23/2024 update will address the following:

  1. Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

The 12/04/2023 update will address the following:

  1. Roon Ready update. Updated from "Roon Tested" to "Roon Ready".
  2. Added "Pre amp mode".

The 09/05/2023 update will address the following:

  1. Add Auro 3D function.
  2. Add SBTM (Source Based Tone Mapping) of HDMI 2.1a.
  3. Dolby Atmos Music playback capability of Amazon Music HD.
  4. Raise the upper limit of the Dirac delay time from 20 msec to 50 msec.
  5. Fix the issue of displaying messages related to OSD signals when connecting the Optoma projector.
  6. Fix the issue where enabling Bluetooth transmission would prevent HLG display.
  7. Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

Firmware Update Instructions

Update the firmware via network or USB connection.

You can update the firmware by connecting the unit to a network.

"Updating the firmware via USB connection"

You need a 128 MB or larger capacity USB storage for updating.
