Water Inlet Hose
- Use the supplied new water inlet hose.
- Ensure clean water flows from the tap before connecting.
- Connect directly to the water inlet tap.
- Water pressure: minimum 0.03 MPa (0.3 bar), maximum 1 MPa. A pressure-relief valve is needed if pressure exceeds 1 MPa.
- ⚠️ WARNING: Only turn the locking nut to secure the hose; do not turn the hose itself.
- The water inlet hose has a safety valve and a sheath with an inner mains cable.
- Turn the tap on fully after connections and check for water tightness.
- For safety, always turn off the water inlet tap after each wash program is finished.
- ⚠️ WARNING: Aquastop inlet hose has components using 240V. Do not cut, fold, twist, kink, or crush it.
- ⚠️ WARNING: A water tempering valve is required if water temperature is over 60°C.
- CAUTION: Always use new hoses. Examine the water inlet hose every twelve months for deterioration and replace if necessary.
- An opening of at least 45mm x 90mm is needed to pass the safety valve through kitchen cabinets.
Water Drain Hose
- Connect directly to the water drain hole or sink outlet spigot.
- If using a hose hook, position it over the sink edge for draining.
- Connection height: minimum 50 cm, maximum 110 cm above the floor.
- ⚠️ WARNING: Maximum drain hose length is 4m. Longer hoses can prevent correct draining and result in poor wash performance.

Preparing the Machine for Use
Prior to Using the Machine for the First Time
- Check if electricity and water supply specifications match installation instructions.
- Remove all packaging materials inside the machine.
- Fill the rinse aid compartment.
Detergent Usage
Use detergent specifically designed for domestic dishwashers (powder, gel, tablet). Keep detergents cool, dry, and out of children's reach. Do not overfill the detergent compartment to avoid etching glasses or leaving undissolved detergent. Contact detergent manufacturers for more information.
Filling the Detergent Compartment
Push the latch to open the detergent container. The detergent pod has level lines for measuring detergent. It can hold a maximum of 40cm³. Pour 25cm³ for heavily soiled dishes or 15cm³ for lightly soiled dishes. Adjust amount based on soil level and water hardness.
If dishes are from the previous day or the dishwasher is fully loaded, pour 5cm³ detergent onto the base of the door and start the machine.
Combined Detergent
Manufacturers offer combined detergents ("2 in 1", "3 in 1", etc.) containing detergent or rinse aid. These generally produce acceptable results under certain conditions. Points to consider:
- Always check product specifications to confirm it's a combined product.
- Ensure the detergent is appropriate for the mains water hardness.
- Observe instructions on packaging.
- Tablets must always be placed in the detergent compartment, not the interior or cutlery basket.
- Contact manufacturers for suitable conditions of use if results are not optimal.
- Using combined detergents may save rinse aid consumption if conditions are appropriate.
- Contact the detergent manufacturer if wash results are poor (e.g., calcareous, wet dishes). Warranty does not cover complaints caused by these detergents.
- Recommended usage for better results with combined detergents: add rinse aid and set rinse aid to the lowest position.
- Tablet solubility varies; not recommended for short programs. Powder detergents and rinse aid are better for short programs.
⚠️ WARNING: If problems occur with these detergents, contact the detergent manufacturers directly.
When You STOP Using Combined Detergents
- Fill the rinse aid compartments.
- Select a suitable rinse aid setting.
Filling with Rinse Aid and Setting
Open the rinse-aid compartment cap. To set the rinse aid level:
- Turn on the machine using the On/Off button.
- Press the Up button for at least 3 seconds immediately after turning on.
- Release the Up button when all LEDs blink once. The last setting level is displayed.
- Press Up or Down button to increase or decrease the hardness level.
- Turn off the machine to save the setting.
The factory setting is "4". Adjust the level if dishes are not drying properly or are spotted (increase level). If blue stains form on dishes, decrease the rinse-aid level.
Level | Brightener Dose | Indicator |
---|---|---|
1 | Rinse-aid not dispensed | Wash LED is on. |
2 | 1 dose is dispensed | Dry LED is on. |
3 | 2 doses are dispensed | End LED is on. |
4 | 3 doses are dispensed | Wash and Dry LEDs are on. |
5 | 4 doses are dispensed | Wash and End LEDs are on. |
ℹ️ TIPS AND INFORMATION: Fill the rinse aid compartment to the MAX level and close the cap. Be careful not to overfill and wipe up any spills. Only use rinse aid suitable for automatic dishwashers. Excess rinse aid can create high foam and reduce washing performance.
Loading Your Dishwasher
Follow these loading guidelines for best results. Loading to capacity saves energy and water. Manual pre-rinsing is not recommended as it increases water and energy consumption.
- Cups, glasses, stemware, small plates, and bowls can be placed in the upper basket.
- Do not lean long glasses against each other, as they may not remain steady and could be damaged.
- When placing long stem glasses and goblets, lean them against the basket edge or rack, not against other items.
- Place all containers such as cups, glasses, and pots face down to prevent water collection.
- Use the cutlery grid in the cutlery basket for best results.
- Place large and very dirty items (pots, pans, lids, plates, bowls) in the lower rack.
- Dishes and cutlery should not be placed above each other.
⚠️ WARNING: Take care not to obstruct the rotation of spray arms.
⚠️ WARNING: Make sure that after loading the dishes, the detergent dispenser can still be opened.
Recommendations
- Remove any coarse residue on dishes before loading. Start the machine with a full load.
- Do not overload drawers or place dishes in the wrong basket.
Upper Basket
Height Adjustment
Turn the Rail Stop Clips at the ends of the rails to the sides to open them. Pull out and remove the basket. Change the position of the wheels, then reinstall the basket to the rail, ensuring the Rail Stop Clips are closed. When the upper basket is in the higher position, large items such as pans can be placed on the lower basket.
Upper Basket Knife Holder
(varies by model) This holder allows storage of kitchen utensils like bread knives and ladles. It can be removed by pulling it upwards.
Slide Basket
The movable cutlery basket can slide between the front and rear wires of the bottom basket.
