- Pressing buttons underwater.
- Moving hands underwater.
- Unscrewing the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Do not wear watches with leather straps while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.
Watches are classified into levels (from I to V) according to their degree of water protection. Check your watch's level using the table below to determine its proper use.
* Level | Case Marking | Splashes, Rain, etc. | Swimming, Washing, etc. | Diving, Snorkeling, etc. | Free Diving with Scuba Gear |

Notes:
- Level I: The watch is not water-resistant. Avoid any moisture.
- WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.
- Level III (5 Bar / 50 meters) watches can withstand water pressure as indicated and can be used during showers and brief swimming.
- Level IV (10 Bar / 100 meters) means the watch can be used during normal swimming and snorkeling.
- Level V (20 Bar / 200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
When using the product in conditions of rapid temperature changes, slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass. This phenomenon is due to physical laws and is not a defect.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of these watches and does not accept any claims from third parties.
Crown Operation
Your watch may differ slightly from the illustrations in this manual.
Some water-resistant models are equipped with a screw-lock crown. To pull out such a crown, you must unlock it by turning it in the direction indicated. Do not use excessive force when pulling out the crown, as this may lead to its damage.
Note that the watch becomes unprotected from water and moisture when the crown is pulled out. After completing all operations using the crown, return it to its original position and lock it.
