User Manual for Watch Functions
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - READ FIRST
Water Resistance
For all categories of watches, the following are prohibited:
- Pressing buttons underwater;
- Adjusting hands underwater;
- Unscrewing the crown underwater;
If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of the leather strap with water.
Watches are classified into ratings (from I to V) according to their degree of water resistance. Check your watch's rating using the table below to determine its correct usage.

Notes
- Rating I: Watches are not water-resistant. Avoid any moisture.
- Rating II: WR (Water Resistant) means the watch is water-resistant according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause any problems.
- Rating III: Water resistance of 5 Bar (50 meters) means the watch can withstand water pressure as indicated and can be used while showering and for brief swimming.
- Rating IV: Water resistance of 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used for normal swimming and snorkeling.
- Rating V: Water resistance of 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (excluding dives requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
When using the product in conditions of rapid temperature changes, slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass. This phenomenon is due to the laws of physics and is not a defect.

Note
- Some water-resistant models are equipped with a screw-lock crown.
- To pull out such a crown, you must unlock it by turning it in the direction indicated in the illustration. Do not apply excessive force when pulling out the crown. This may lead to damage.
- Note that the watch becomes unprotected from water and moisture when the crown is pulled out. After completing all operations using the crown, return it to its original position and lock it.

Setting the Current Time
Pull out the crown. Turn it to set the hands to the current time. Push the crown back to its original position.

Setting the Current Time
- When the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position, pull out the crown. The second hand will stop.
- Turn the crown to set the hands to the current time. Set the minute hand 4-5 minutes ahead of the current time, then move it back.
- When the time signal sounds, close and secure the crown.

Setting the Current Time
- When the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position, pull out the crown. The second hand will stop.
- Turn the crown to set the hands to the current time. For more precise time setting, move the minute hand back 4-5 minutes from the desired value, then move it forward to the current value.

Setting the Date
- To ensure the date changes at midnight, do not perform date setting between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
- Pull out the crown to the first click.
- Turn it to set the desired date.
- Push the crown back to its original position to resume time display.

Setting the Date and Day of the Week
- To ensure the date and day of the week change at midnight, do not perform date setting between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
- Pull out the crown to the first click.
- Set the date by turning the crown counter-clockwise.
- Set the day of the week by turning the crown clockwise. Days of the week are indicated in English or Spanish.

- Push the crown back to its original position.
WATCHES WITH BACKLIGHT
- Press and hold button L to illuminate the watch face.
- Depending on the watch model, the backlight duration is 2 to 3 seconds, 1 second, or until button L is pressed (Module 5577).
- Depending on the watch model, the backlight is provided by electroluminescent (EL) elements or LEDs. EL elements lose power after extended use.
- Frequent use of the backlight shortens battery life.
- Turning on the backlight for an extended period or with a low battery charge may cause the watch hands to stop moving for a while.

WATCHES WITH ROTATING BEZEL
Turn the bezel to align the mark with the minute hand. After some time, you can tell how much time has passed since you aligned the mark with the minute hand.
