Safety Precautions
WARNING!
- Keep the unit and batteries out of reach of children.
- Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years of age).
- Batteries contain harmful acids and can be dangerous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, it can lead to severe internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery may have been swallowed or lodged in the body, seek immediate medical attention.
- Do not throw batteries into fire, short-circuit, dismantle, or recharge. Risk of explosion!
- Weak batteries should be replaced as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leakage.
- Ensure the polarities are correct when inserting batteries. Remove the battery if the unit will not be used for a longer period.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, rinse the affected areas immediately with water and consult a doctor.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations of the product are prohibited.
Product Description
This digital thermometer is designed for indoor use. It measures and displays temperature readings.
General Precautions:
- Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures, vibrations, or shocks.
- Protect the unit from moisture.
- Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
1. Getting Started/Operation
- Remove the protective film from the display.
- Insert a new 1.5 V AAA battery with the correct polarity (+ pole to the left). The temperature will appear on the display. If the display shows LL.L or HH.H°C, it indicates the temperature is outside the measuring range.
- Press the MAX/MIN button (on the side) to display the highest (MAX) and lowest (MIN) temperatures recorded since the last reset. Pressing it again returns to normal mode.
- To reset the MAX/MIN values, hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN is displayed.
- Remove the battery to turn off the instrument if it will not be used for an extended period.
- The unit can be placed on a table using the integrated stand or attached to a metallic surface using the magnet.
- If the unit does not function correctly, contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
2. Disposal
This product and its packaging have been manufactured with high-quality materials and components that can be recycled and reused, reducing waste and protecting the environment.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner using established collection systems.
Disposal of the Electrical Unit
Remove non-permanently installed batteries and rechargeable batteries from the unit and dispose of them separately.

As a consumer, you are obliged to take used units to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment to ensure environmentally compatible disposal.
Disposal of Batteries
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with regular household waste. They contain pollutants which, if disposed of improperly, can harm the environment and human health. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to take them to your store or to a suitable collection point, depending on national or local regulations, to protect the environment. The return service is free of charge.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
