2. Safety notices

⚠ WARNING

• Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.
• Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years old).
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.

• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Protect it from moisture!

4. Getting started

• Remove the protective film from the display.
• Open the battery compartment by pressing the notch with your thumb and then lift the lid. Insert a new battery (1.5 V AAA), polarity as indicated.
• An acoustic signal sounds and all LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment.
• Close the battery compartment again. The device is ready for use.

5. Operation

Press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds to toggle between clock mode and timer mode.

5.1 Clock

• After inserting the battery, the clock symbol and the time (12:00) appear.
• Press the M button in clock mode to choose between 24-hour and 12-hour system.
• To set the time, press and hold the M (or S) button until the display starts to flash. Press M button to set the hours and S button to set the minutes. Press and hold the buttons for quick setting.
• Confirm with the START/STOP button.

5.2 Timer

• Press and hold the START/STOP button to switch to timer mode. The timer symbol appears on the display.
• Press the M button to set the minutes and the S button to set the seconds (up to 99 min and 59 sec). Press and hold the buttons for quick setting.
• Press the START/STOP button to start the count-down process.
• After the set time has elapsed, the timer will beep for 30 seconds and the display will flash.
• Press any button to stop the alarm.
• The last set time will automatically reappear on the display.
• Press the M and S buttons simultaneously to clear the display.

5.3 Stopwatch

• In timer mode, press the START/STOP button (display 00:00) to start the count.
• Use the START/STOP button to pause and resume the count.

6. Mounting

• To stand the device up, unfold the stand.
• Use the two magnets to attach the device to metal surfaces.
• Optional: Thread a lanyard through the lanyard hole on the device.

7. Troubleshooting

If your device still does not work despite these measures, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product.

8. Disposal

Dispose of packaging environmentally through established collection systems.

Disposal of the electrical device

• Remove non-permanently fitted batteries and rechargeable batteries from the device and dispose of them separately.
• This device is marked in accordance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
• This product must not be disposed of with household waste. The user is obliged to hand over the old device to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment for environmentally sound disposal. The return is free of charge. Observe the currently applicable regulations!

Disposal of batteries

• Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. They contain harmful substances that can damage the environment and health if disposed of improperly. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries for environmentally sound disposal to retailers or appropriate collection points in accordance with national or local regulations. The return is free of charge.
• The designations for contained heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead.
