Important Safety Information

1. Getting Started and Operation

• Remove the protective film and insert a new 1.5 V AAA battery with the correct polarity (+ pole to the left). The temperature, humidity, and comfort level (default indoor climate) will appear.
• Press the MAX/MIN button (on the side) to display the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) values since the last reset and to return to normal mode. Press and hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds when MAX or MIN is displayed to reset the values.
• By pressing the MODE button (under the stand), you can choose between 4 areas of use: Indoor climate, musical instruments, tortoise, humidor. A smiley indicates the comfort level (see Fig. 1).
• Important Note: The comfort levels are based on average values. The ideal climate conditions for your specific area of use may differ.
• Press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds to switch the function off and on again. Remove the battery to turn off the device if you do not use it for an extended period.
• If your device fails to work, contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
