The Victrola Roadie is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for on-the-go listening. It features a classic design with a fabric grille, a sturdy carrying handle, and intuitive controls.

Control Panel and Features

The speaker's control panel, located on the rear/top, includes the following:

  • 1. Power Toggle Switch: For turning the unit ON/OFF.
  • 2. Volume Knob & Next Function: Rotate to adjust volume. Press to skip to the next track in Bluetooth mode.
  • 3. Bass Knob & Play/Pause Function: Rotate to adjust bass levels. Press to pause or resume playback in Bluetooth mode.
  • 4. Treble Knob & Previous Function: Rotate to adjust treble levels. Press to go to the previous track in Bluetooth mode.
  • 5. USB Input: Port for connecting a USB flash drive for music playback.
  • 6. 3.5mm AUX Input Jack: Port for connecting external audio devices via an audio cable.
  • 7. LED Indicator: Displays connection status (Blue for Bluetooth, Red for Aux-In).
  • 8. LED Charging Indicator: Shows charging status (Red for charging, Green for charging complete).
  • 9. DC Input for Adaptor: Port for connecting the power adapter (5V-1A).

Charging Operation

The speaker is powered by a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the included power adapter (DC 5V/1A) for charging.

Warning: The built-in rechargeable battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to remove or replace it. Do not dispose of the device in regular trash or fire. Dispose of the device at designated battery recycling sites after fully discharging the battery, in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Bluetooth Operation

  1. Turn the power switch to the ON position. The device will power on in Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth LED will illuminate and flash blue.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
  3. Locate "VICTROLA ROADIE" on your device's Bluetooth list. Lower the speaker volume before pairing to avoid sudden loud audio.
  4. Select "VICTROLA ROADIE" to pair. If prompted, enter the pass code "0000".
  5. Upon successful pairing, an audible sound will confirm the connection.
  6. Adjust volume, bass, and treble using the respective knobs.
  7. Use the Volume Knob [next] to play the next song.
  8. Use the Bass Knob [play/pause] to pause or resume playback.
  9. Use the Treble Knob [previous] to play the previous song.

Notes:

  • Refer to your Bluetooth device's manual for specific operation details.
  • Your device must support A2DP for music playback through the speaker.
  • The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
  • To connect to a new device, disconnect from the current device first to re-enter pairing mode.

USB Operation

  1. Turn the power switch ON.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode.
  3. Operations for knobs and functions are the same as Bluetooth mode.

Note: The device supports USB flash drives up to 64GB, and some 128GB drives with mixed files. Large, non-music files may affect performance.

Aux-In Operation

Connect external audio sources like iPods or MP3 players using an audio cable (not included).

  1. Plug one end of an audio cable into the Aux-In JACK. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, and the LED indicator will illuminate RED.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into the headphone jack of your external audio player.
  3. Play music from the connected external device.
  4. Adjust volume levels on both the speaker and the external device for optimal audio.
  5. Adjust Volume, Bass, and Treble using the respective knobs on the speaker.

Notes:

  • Using the speaker's Previous/Next or Play/Pause functions may not control the external device if it is in Aux-In mode.
  • Ensure volume is adjusted on both the external device and the speaker for desired audio levels.

Care and Maintenance

  • Avoid exposing the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, or extreme temperatures.
  • Do not attempt to tamper with internal components.
  • Clean the unit with a dry cloth only. Do not use solvents or detergents.
  • Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, hot, humid, or dusty environments.
  • Keep the unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise (e.g., fluorescent lamps, motors).

Cleaning the Unit

  • Disconnect the unit from the AC power source before cleaning to prevent fire or shock hazards.
  • The unit's finish can be cleaned with a dust cloth, similar to furniture. Exercise caution when cleaning plastic parts.
  • For dust, use a soft, dry dust cloth. Do not use wax or polish sprays.
  • For smudges or fingerprints on the front panel, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cloths or polishes, as they can damage the finish.

Caution: Never allow water or liquids to enter the unit during cleaning.

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product to be free from "Defects" in materials under normal use for a period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The Warranty is "Not" transferable. IT agrees, within the initial "90 Day" period, to repair or replace the product if it is determined to be defective at "No Charge". It is further agreed that IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only for a total period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, accident, acts of God or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

To Obtain Service:

The purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt or proof of purchase. To request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, please visit www.victrola.com. Returns without an RMA number on the package will be refused and returned to the sender.

Upon receipt and inspection, IT may issue a replacement with the same or an equivalent item. To initiate a return, provide your full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, proof of purchase, and reason for return to obtain an RMA number.

All returns must be in original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. Include your full name, shipping address, and telephone number inside the package. Returns cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO address.

Handling and Return Shipping Fees: Include a check or money order payable to Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. for the following amounts:

  • USD $5.00 for items priced $10.00 to $39.99 (per unit).
  • USD $10.00 for items priced $40.00 to $99.99 (per unit).
  • USD $16.00 for items priced $100.00 and up (per unit).
