The Caution Marking is located at the bottom enclosure of the apparatus.

  5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
  6. Cleaning: Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Clean only with dry cloth.
  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  8. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer. A product and cart combination should be moved with care - quick stops, excessive force and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
  9. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that product heat.
  10. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
  11. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  12. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  13. Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms or when unused for a long periods of time.
  14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  15. This appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and that no object filled with liquids such as vases shall be placed on the apparatus.
  16. Do not overload wall outlet. Use only power source as indicated.
  17. Use replacement part as specified by the manufacturer.
  18. The product may be mounted to a wall only if recommended by the manufacturer.
  19. Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks.
  20. Power Sources: This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instruction.
  21. Object and Liquid Entry: Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.
  22. Damage Requiring Service: Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
    • a) When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged
    • b) If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product
    • c) If the product has been exposed to rain or water
    • d) If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
    • e) If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way, and
    • f) When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance - this indicates a need for service.

  2. WARNING: The mains plug or appliance coupler is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
  3. This equipment is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
  4. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
  5. Attention should be drawn to environmental aspects of battery disposal.
  6. The product is designed to use in moderate climates.
  7. Minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
  8. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.

BASIC SET UP

  1. Plug the provided AC Power Cord into the back of the unit, then insert plug into the nearest wall outlet. (Note: The unit can also be powered by 8 x D Size batteries, not included).
  2. Press the Standby Button to power the unit ON.
  3. Use the Function Switch on the top of the unit to switch between Tape, Radio, Bluetooth (BT), and USB/SD.
  4. While listening to the radio function, use the Band Switch to switch between AM, FM, and FM ST.
  5. Use the Tuning Knob to manually adjust the Radio.
  6. Use the Volume Knob to manually adjust the volume.

CLOCK SET UP

  1. To set up the Clock, make sure you first press the Standby Button so the unit is in Standby Mode.
  2. While holding the ADJ. Button, press the Hour Button to adjust the hour time.
  3. Then, while holding the ADJ. Button press the Minute Button to adjust the minute time. (Note: Insert 2 x AAA Batteries in the Backup Clock Battery Compartment for Clock Back Up).

CASSETTE OPERATION

Quickly press the STANDBY button to power on. Slide the function switch to TAPE mode, the LED Display will show "tAPE", then follow the steps below:

  1. Press the STOP/EJECT BUTTON. Insert the cassette tape, bottom side up with the tape facing you. Manually close the Cassette door.
  2. Pause: Press the PAUSE BUTTON to stop the tape during recording or playback, press the pause button a second time to resume play or recording.
  3. Automatic Stop (Auto Stop): When the cassette tape that is being played or recorded reaches the end of the tape, the VBB-10 will automatically power off.
  4. Fast Forwarding and Rewind: To fast forward or to rewind the tape, press the FFWD or REWIND BUTTON. Press the STOP/EJECT BUTTON to stop the tape at the desired location.
  5. Play Back:
    • (1) Install a Cassette Tape
    • (2) Set the FUNCTION to TAPE
    • (3) Press the PLAY BUTTON.
    • (4) Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL to desired sound level.
  6. Recording: Install a cassette as described before. Press the RECORD BUTTON. To record from the Radio, convert the function button to the radio position.

MIC RECORDING

Press the RECORD button in TAPE mode, the "MIC" will record all audible content. To stop recording, press the STOP button. Rewind the tape to play back the recorded content. The MIC recording can only be performed in TAPE mode.

RADIO OPERATION

  1. Use the Function Switch to switch to Radio Mode.
  2. The LED Display will show "rAd".
  3. Use the Band Switch to switch between AM, FM, and FM ST.
  4. Use the Tuning Knob to manually adjust the Radio to the desired station. For the best reception, fully extend the antenna located on the top of the unit. (Note: While in FM ST, the FM ST. Indication Light will light up red when tuned in properly to the station).

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

  1. Use the Function Switch to switch to BT (Bluetooth) Mode.
  2. The LED Display will flash "bt" indicating the unit is in pairing mode.
  3. Make sure your external device has the Bluetooth turned on. Then open the Bluetooth settings menu on your device and select "VBB-10".
  4. The "bt" on the LED Display will stop flashing and an audible tone will sound indicating the connection was successful.
  5. Use the silver playback buttons on the control panel as usual or control playback directly from your external device.
  6. To disconnect the external device, press and hold the Stop/Pair/AUX Button.

AUX-IN OPERATION

  1. Use the Function Switch to switch to BT Mode. Then press the Stop/Pair/AUX Button to switch to AUX Mode. The LED Display will show "AUX".
  2. Insert a 3.5mm cord (not included) into the AUX-In Port on the side of the unit.
  3. Control playback directly from your external device.

HEADPHONE OPERATION

Plug the headphones (not included) into the Headphone Jack on the side of the unit to listen. The built-in speaker will stop playing once the headphones are plugged in.

USB/SD OPERATION

  1. Use the Function Switch to switch to USB/SD Mode.
  2. The LED Display will show "---". After a few seconds, it will then display "no" if there is no USB/SD inserted.
  3. Insert USB/SD Card (not included) and press the USB/SD button to choose either USB or SD Mode.
  4. Use the silver playback buttons location on the control panel to control playback as usual. (Note: the USB/SD supports MP3/WMA Format and supports a maximum of 32GB).

Limited Warranty: 90 Days Labor, One Year Parts

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product to be free from "Defects" in materials under normal use for a period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The Warranty is "Not" transferable. IT agrees, within the initial "90 Day" period, to repair or replace the product if it is determined to be defective at "No Charge". It is further agreed that IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only for a total period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, accident, acts of God or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

To obtain service, the purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt / proof of purchase. Please contact us at www.victrola.com to request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number to return products for service or replacement. Returns without an RMA number on the package will be refused and returned to sender. Upon receipt of the returning item and our full inspection (IT) may issue a replacement to customer for the same item or of one that has equivalent value and features. To return an item, supply full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, receipt of purchase and reason for return to obtain RMA number.

All returns must be in the original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage. Customer "Must" include full name, shipping address and telephone number inside of package. No return will be shipped back to a PO Box or APO address.
