Overview
The HyperX SoloCast is a versatile USB microphone designed for streaming, podcasting, and gaming.
Key Components:
- A: Tap-to-mute sensor: Touch the top of the microphone to mute or unmute.
- B: Microphone status LED: Indicates the microphone's status (e.g., muted).
- C: Microphone alignment guide: Helps position the microphone correctly towards the sound source.
- D: Microphone stand: The included stand for desktop placement.
- E: USB-C port: Connects the microphone to your device.

Using PC or PS4
Microphone Position
To ensure optimal sound capture, position the SoloCast with its front facing the sound source. The alignment guide on both the microphone and the stand helps achieve this. The microphone can be rotated on its stand for convenient placement, such as under a monitor.
Muting the Microphone
To mute or unmute the microphone, simply tap the touch-sensitive sensor on the top of the microphone. The microphone status LED will flash to indicate when the mute function is active.
Using a Microphone Mount
The HyperX SoloCast can be detached from its included stand. It is compatible with standard microphone mounts that feature 3/8" or 5/8" threads for flexible setup options.
