HyperX SoloCast Quick Start Guide
Overview
The HyperX SoloCast is a versatile USB microphone designed for gamers and streamers. It features a tap-to-mute sensor, a microphone status LED, and a flexible stand.
Key Components:
- A - Tap-to-mute sensor: Touch the top of the microphone to mute or unmute.
- B - Microphone status LED: Indicates the microphone's status (e.g., muted).
- C - Microphone alignment guide: Helps position the microphone correctly towards the sound source.
- D - Microphone stand: Provides a stable base for the microphone.
- E - USB-C port: Connects the microphone to your device via the USB cable.
- F - USB cable: Used to connect the microphone to a PC or PS4.
Using with PC or PS4
Connect the HyperX SoloCast to your PC or PS4 using the provided USB cable. Plug the USB-C end into the microphone and the USB-A end into your device.
Microphone Position
For optimal sound quality, position the SoloCast so that the front of the microphone faces the sound source. The alignment guide on both the microphone and the stand will help you achieve the correct orientation. The microphone can be rotated on its stand for easy placement, such as under a monitor.
Muting the Microphone
To mute or unmute the microphone, simply tap the top of the microphone. The microphone status LED will flash when the mute function is enabled.
Using a Microphone Mount
The HyperX SoloCast can be detached from its included stand and used with standard microphone mounts that have 3/8" or 5/8" threads for flexible setup options.
