HyperX QuadCast™ Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information for setting up and using your HyperX QuadCast™ USB microphone.
Overview
The HyperX QuadCast™ is a versatile USB microphone. Key components include:
- A - Tap-to-Mute Sensor: Touch-sensitive sensor to mute/unmute the microphone.
- B - Gain Control Knob: Adjusts microphone input sensitivity.
- C - Polar Pattern Knob: Selects the microphone's pickup pattern.
- D - Headphone Jack: 3.5mm jack for audio monitoring.
- E - USB Cable Port: Connects the microphone to a computer or console.
- F - USB Cable: Included cable for connection.
- G - Mount Adapter: For stands with 3/8" and 5/8" thread sizes.
The microphone features an internal shock mount to reduce noise. The mount adapter (G) allows flexible positioning.
Selecting a Polar Pattern
The QuadCast™ offers four polar patterns:

Use the Polar Pattern Knob (C) to select patterns.
Adjusting Gain Control
Use the Gain Control Knob (B) to adjust input sensitivity. Turn clockwise for more gain (+) and counter-clockwise for less gain (-).
Using PC or PS4™
Connect the included USB cable (F) from the microphone's USB Cable Port (E) to a USB port on your PC or PS4™ console.
Connecting Headphones
Connect your headphones to the Headphone Jack (D) on the microphone for audio monitoring.
