Important Note on Hardware
You need to provide the appropriate hardware to secure the mount to the vehicle. Use lockwashers or threadlocker to make sure that the mount does not vibrate loose.
Mounting Procedure
Step 1: Attach Mounting Bracket to Device
The first step involves attaching the mounting bracket to the rear of the CV30 or Thor CV31 device. This is typically done using three screws, as indicated in the diagram.
Step 2: Secure Ball Mount to Vehicle
In the second step, the ball-mount assembly is secured to a suitable surface within the vehicle. This requires using three screws, specified as #10-24 x 1/2", along with corresponding nuts, to firmly attach the ball mount to the vehicle's interior structure.
Step 3: Connect Device to Ball Mount
The final step is to connect the device, with its bracket already attached, to the ball mount assembly installed on the vehicle. The connection is secured by engaging a locking mechanism, often involving a rotational motion to tighten and ensure stability against vibrations.
