Indoor 400 NITS Display

The Honeywell Thor VM1A is a rugged mobile computer designed for industrial environments. This guide details various configuration options for the VM1A with an indoor 400 NITS display.

Migrating to Thor VM1A

Instructions are provided for migrating from previous Honeywell/Intermec devices to the Thor VM1A.

Migrating Intermec CV30/CV60 to Thor VM1A

  • Power Supply: Reuse existing CV30/CV60 power supply with VM3078CABLE adapter.
  • Dock: VM1002VMCRADLE (includes "D" ball, no DC power cable).
  • Mounts: Reuse CV30/CV60 single ball "D" RAM Mount.
  • Scanners: Reuse existing Intermec SR61 or Honeywell Granit Scanners.
  • Keyboard: Compact, CV30 keyboard (VE011-2022).

Migrating Intermec CV61 to Thor VM1A

  • Power Supply: Reuse existing CV61 power supply with VM3079CABLE adapter.
  • Dock: VM1002VMCRADLE (includes "D" ball, no DC power cable).
  • Mounts: Reuse CV61 single ball "D" RAM Mount.
  • Scanners: Reuse existing Intermec SR61 or Honeywell Granit Scanners.
  • Keyboard: 101 Key, Backlit SLK-101 (340-053-003).

Migrating LXE VX8/VX9 to Thor VM1A

  • Power Supply: Connect VX8/VX9 power cable directly to the dock or use VM1082CABLE adapter.
  • Dock: VM1002VMCRADLE (includes "D" ball, no DC power cable).
  • Mounts: Reuse VX8 or VX9 single "D" ball RAM mount.

Migrating LXE VX6/VX7 to Thor VM1A

The VM3001VMCRADLE Dock provides various I/O connectors:

  • Serial Ports: COM1, COM2 DB9M Serial Ports with +5V Pin 9 for Serial Scanners.
