International Warranty
Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A. offers a twenty-four (24) month international warranty on all LONGINES® watch models, starting from the date of purchase. For mechanical watches purchased from January 1, 2021, onwards, a five (5) year warranty is provided. All watch straps and bracelets are covered by the 24-month international warranty for any material and manufacturing defects. Material and manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery of the purchased LONGINES watch are covered by the international LONGINES warranty. The warranty is valid only if dated and fully completed by an authorized LONGINES dealer on the warranty certificate ('valid warranty certificate'). You are entitled to have all defects repaired free of charge during the warranty period upon presentation of the valid warranty certificate. If your LONGINES watch cannot be restored to its original condition after repairs, Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A. undertakes to replace your watch with a LONGINES watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty of the replacement watch expires on the same day as the warranty of the watch it replaces.
This warranty does not cover:
- Battery life;
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches on the case and/or crystal; changes in the color and/or texture of the case, strap, and non-metallic bracelet such as leather, fabric, rubber; loss of quality of PVD coating; alteration of bronze tone);
- Damage to any part of the watch resulting from improper or abusive use, lack of care, neglect, accidents (impacts, scratches, drops, broken crystal, scratches during strap replacement, etc.), incorrect operation, or failure to follow the instructions in the user manual.
- Any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of the LONGINES watch, from any operational malfunction, or from a lack of precision;
- LONGINES watches that have been tampered with by an unauthorized person (e.g., battery replaced, serviced, or repaired) or whose originality has been compromised outside the control of Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A.;
Any other claims against Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A., such as damages beyond those described in this warranty statement, are expressly excluded, except for statutory rights the buyer may assert against the manufacturer in certain cases.
This manufacturer's warranty:
- Is independent of any warranties provided by the seller, which are solely the seller's responsibility;
- Does not affect the buyer's rights against the seller, or statutory rights the buyer may assert against the seller in certain cases.

Water Resistance Precautions
Changes due to gasket hardening or accidental impacts to the crown may affect the water resistance of a watch. To help maintain your watch's water resistance, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water after contact with saltwater and having its water resistance checked annually by an authorized LONGINES service center. Under no circumstances should you open your watch yourself.
IMPORTANT! Never operate the watch crown and/or pushers while underwater. Before entering water, ensure the crown and pushers are pushed in/screwed down.

Displays hours, minutes, seconds, date, and a second time zone.
Watch Components
- A Crown: Used for setting time, date, and winding.
- B Hour Hand: Indicates the hour.
- C Minute Hand: Indicates the minute.
- D Second Hand: Indicates the second.
- E GMT/24H Hand: Indicates a second time zone in 24-hour format.
- F Date Window: Displays the current date.
- G Rotating Bezel: Can be used for various timing functions, including setting the second time zone.
Screw-down Crown
Some LONGINES models feature a screw-down crown. Before setting the watch, correcting the date, or winding the watch, this crown must be unscrewed by turning it counter-clockwise. Once settings are complete, push the crown back to position 1 and screw it down firmly to ensure water resistance.
Setting the Watch and Stopping the Seconds
Pull the crown to position 3 when the seconds hand reaches 60. Turn the crown forward or backward until the desired time is displayed. Turning the crown also moves the hands on the second time zone dial. Push the crown back to position 1 when setting is complete. If you are not wearing your mechanical watch, you need to wind it manually approximately thirty turns.
Setting the Second Time Zone
Pull the crown to position 3 and adjust the time by turning the crown until the hour and minute hands on the 24h dial show the desired second time zone. Push the crown to position 1. Alternative: You can also set the second time zone by rotating the bezel.
Setting Local Time and Correcting the Date
Pull the crown to position 2. Turning the crown forward or backward will advance or reverse the hour hand by one-hour increments without affecting the second time zone or seconds hand. The date will automatically advance when the hour hand passes midnight. This new display will be for the next day or the previous day, depending on the direction of adjustment. Date correction is necessary after months with fewer than 31 days. Push the crown to position 1.
