1 General Description
Rotronic HygroClip2 Advanced Industrial probes are specifically designed for harsh environments and temperatures up to 200°C.
2 Connection
Plug the HygroClip onto the mating connector of the transmitter or connection cable. Ensure the catches are aligned correctly. Tighten the knurled nut by hand.

A properly assembled and secured connection ensures the specified IP protection rating.
The HygroClip2 Advanced Industrial is compatible with the following Rotronic products:
- Handheld devices of the HP2x and HP3x families.
- Transmitters of the HF5 and HF8 families.
- Data loggers of the HL-NT family.
3 Mounting
The probe should be immersed in the climate to be measured.
Visual description: Diagrams showing correct and incorrect probe mounting orientations within a duct or enclosure. 'OK' is indicated for probes mounted perpendicular to the flow or in a specific orientation, and 'X' for incorrect orientations.
4 Adjustment / Calibration
The probes are adjusted at the factory before delivery. Depending on the application, recalibration after one year of use is recommended. Rotronic provides calibration and adjustment services, or you can perform these yourself on-site using Rotronic SCS humidity standards or HG2-S humidity generators.
