HygroClip2 Advanced Short Instruction Manual
1. General Description
The Rotronic HygroClip2 Advanced is a leading-edge product that meets all established standards. It will work perfectly for years if the assembly and operating guidelines below are followed.
2. Connection
Plug the HygroClip on the mating connector of the transmitter or connection cable. Make sure that the catches are aligned correctly. Tighten the knurled nut by hand.
Steps:
- Rotate
- Press
- Tighten
Note: Only a properly assembled and fixed connection assures the IP protection rating.
The HygroClip2 Advanced is compatible with the following Rotronic products:
- Handhelds of the HP3x family
- Transmitters of the HF5 and HF8 families
3. Mounting
The probe should be immersed in the climate that is to be measured.

4. Adjustment / Calibration
The probes are adjusted in the factory before delivery. It is recommended, depending on the application, to perform a calibration after 1 year of use. Rotronic provides calibration and adjustment services, or users can perform this on-site using Rotronic SCS humidity standards or HG2-S humidity generators.
