General Description
The Rotronic PC-Series humidity probes are designed for versatile installation across various applications. For detailed information and access to the online manual, users can visit www.processsensing.com or www.rotronic.com.
Mounting Instructions
Probes can be mounted on walls or in ducts. For wall mounting, the sensing element should face downwards to minimize heat transfer. For duct mounting, the sensor's filter end must be perpendicular to the airflow for accurate humidity measurement. Additional openings may be required for checks and calibration.
Wiring and Outputs
The PC-Series offers various models (PC33, PC52, PC62, PC62V, PCMini52) with different output signals:
- Voltage Output: Typically uses White (V+), Yellow (Temp+), Brown (Ground), Green (RH+).
- 4-20 mA (2-wire): Common wiring includes White (RH+), Yellow (Temp-), Brown (RH-), Green (Temp+).
- Digital RS485/Modbus: Wiring involves White/Brown (V+), Yellow/White (RX/TX-), Brown/Black (Ground/Modbus), Green/Blue (TX/RX+/V-).
Specific wiring configurations vary by model.
