Room Shocker™ Instructions

For use in enclosed spaces of up to 400 sq. ft. with an 8 ft. ceiling.

❗ Important: Read all instructions before using! To guarantee success, follow all directions exactly as indicated.

Steps for Use

1. Prepare the Room:

• Close all windows, curtains, and shades to block out sunlight and eliminate drafts.
• ? Note: Sunlight and UV rays weaken the effectiveness of chlorine dioxide.

2. Unpack the Contents:

• Open the container and remove all items inside.

3. Prepare the Pouch:

• Read all information on the foil packet, then carefully open it at the notch edge to avoid damaging the contents.
• Remove the CLO2DMG Technology™ pouch and discard the small desiccant pouch.

4. Activate the Pouch:

• Shake the CLO2DMG Technology™ pouch thoroughly to mix the ingredients.
• Place the pouch back into the provided container.

5. Position the Container:

• Place the container on a stable, flat surface in the center of the room to be treated.
• For additional safety, place it on a plate or container lid to prevent damage from spillage, staining, or bleaching.
• Avoid placing the container directly on carpet or using it if carpets are wet.

6. Add Water:

• Using the provided measuring cup, add one full cup of cold water over the pouch to activate it. Do not replace the lid until the treatment is complete.
• ? Note: In some cases, the product may clump over time, which may cause a popping or sputtering effect. If you hear this, there's no need to be alarmed. The product will still activate and function as intended.

7. Seal the Room:

• Close and lock all doors and windows to prevent entry while the product is working.
• ? Note: This product is non-toxic but is an irritant; ensure no people or pets are in the room during activation.

8. Duration of Treatment:

• Leave the Room Shocker™ working for a minimum of 5 to 24 hours, depending on the severity of the odor. The longer, the better.

9. Ventilation After Treatment:

• At the end of the treatment, open all doors and windows for ventilation.
• Place the lid back on the Room Shocker™ and dispose of it in an outdoor waste container.

10. Post-Treatment Ventilation:

• Allow the room to ventilate for 40 minutes before re-entering.

Tips for Optimal Performance

• Preparation: Open all cabinets, drawers, and closets to ensure tough odors, such as cigarette smoke, are reached.
• Single Room Use: Use one Room Shocker™ for each room being treated.
• HVAC Systems: Turn off all AC and heating systems.
• Air Intake Vents: If in a building, cover all air intake vents.
• Basement Use: Ensure the basement has a full foundation for effectiveness.
• Remove Odor Sources: Address any odor sources, such as dead animals or leaks, before use.
• Air Duct Cleaning: To clean air ducts, remove the filter from the air intake and place a Room Shocker™ next to it.
• Fan Use: Before step 9, turn on a fan to flush out air ducts for 15 minutes.
• Temperature Requirement: Ensure the room temperature is above 50°F for optimal performance.
• Sealing Off Space: For single-room treatment, seal off the space to maintain chlorine dioxide vapor. Use disposable painter's plastic tarp and masking tape if needed.

Safety Note:

The product is safe and non-toxic when used as directed. It degrades into a saline solution. All components are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

⚠️ WARNING:

While Room Shocker™ is non-toxic, Chlorine Dioxide can be an irritant. Avoid inhaling the gas directly. (Do not do a smell test.)

To prevent spills or accidental inhalation of fumes, activate the product only at point of use.

Do not walk with the product after activation from point A to point B, as this may result in exposure to concentration of fumes.

For added safety, wear a mask and protective eyewear during handling or when ventilating the room.

❗ Important: Ensure the lid is securely placed on the container before removing it from the room to avoid spills. Any spilled liquid may bleach surfaces it comes into contact with.

If the carpets have been washed, make sure they are completely dry before use. Moisture in the carpets will retain the chlorine dioxide molecules for a longer period of time.
