Cautions

Beware of condensation

Condensation can occur when water vapor contacts cold surfaces, potentially affecting operation. If condensation occurs, do not assume a malfunction. Dry the unit by turning the POWER switch ON for several hours.

Be especially careful in the following conditions:

  • When moving the unit from a cold to a warm place with a significant temperature difference.
  • When a heater is operating nearby.
  • When moving the unit from an air-conditioned environment to a place with high temperature and humidity.
  • When there is a large difference between the unit's internal temperature and the ambient temperature, or in conditions prone to condensation.

Note related to transportation and movement

Before transporting or moving the unit, perform the following:

  1. Turn the power ON but do not load a disc.
  2. Verify that the "NO DISC" display appears.
  3. Wait a few seconds and turn the power OFF.
