Getting Started
To set up your Beoplay HX headphones, download the Bang & Olufsen App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app allows for product setup, audio personalization, and access to product support and new features.
To begin, turn on your Beoplay HX by pressing the button on the right earcup. The indicator light will flash blue, signaling pairing mode. Next, use the Bang & Olufsen app to connect your headphones via Bluetooth, update the software, and personalize your listening experience.
Key Features & Controls
The Beoplay HX features intuitive touch controls on the right aluminium disc for managing music playback and calls:
- Play/Pause: Tap in the centre.
- Next Track: Swipe forward.
- Previous Track: Swipe backwards.
- Volume Up: Swipe circularly clockwise inside the engraved ring.
- Volume Down: Swipe circularly counter-clockwise inside the engraved ring.
- Accept/End Call: Tap in the centre.
- Reject Call: Double tap in the centre.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency modes can be switched using the rectangular button on the left earcup. The Bang & Olufsen App also offers advanced control over ANC levels.
Charging & Connectivity
Charge your Beoplay HX using the included USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The indicator light shows solid green when fully charged, and turns red with a sound prompt when the battery is below 10%.
Beoplay HX offers up to 35 hours of wireless playtime with ANC enabled. Bluetooth pairing is activated by long-pressing the power button for 2 seconds until the light indicator blinks blue.
For a wired connection, turn on the Beoplay HX and attach a line-in music source. Note that ANC and Transparency modes are not supported with line-in connections.
