Limited Warranty
Stander, Inc. ("Stander") warrants the original purchaser that the Product will be free from material defects in material or workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies only when the Product is used within the Product's specifications and is non-transferable.
To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must notify Stander in writing of the alleged defect during the warranty period and ship the Product, along with proof of purchase, to Stander. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
If Stander determines there is a material defect, Stander will replace the Product and ship a replacement to the original purchaser.
Exclusions to Limited Warranty:
- Damaged during shipment.
- Damaged due to unauthorized attachments, alterations, or modifications.
- Damaged due to failure to install the product according to Stander's instructions.
- Damaged by use for purposes other than intended.
- Damaged due to abuse, misuse, mishandling, neglect, misapplication, accident, or abnormal use or storage.
Stander disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
This limited warranty is the entire warranty and supersedes all other statements. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty is product replacement.
Stander, Inc. shall not be liable for any special, incidental, exemplary, punitive, consequential damages, or other damages based upon breach of this warranty, contract, or strict liability.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. This warranty gives you specific legal rights that may vary by state.

Warnings and Safety Precautions
General Warnings:
- Read and understand all warnings and instructions before use or installation. Contact Stander with any questions.
- Do not alter the product or use it for unintended purposes.
- Children should not hang on or play with the product.
- Do not attach external items to the product.
- This product is for adult use only. It is not intended for individuals with paralysis, dementia, sleeping disorders, incontinence, pain, uncontrolled body movement, or those unable to walk safely without assistance. It is also not for individuals under the influence of medication or substances that impair balance or judgment. Consult a physician if unsure.
- This product is intended for balance and support while sitting and standing, not for carrying full body weight.
- If used in a nursing home or assisted living facility, follow institutional policies.
- Serious injury or harm can result from improper installation. Do NOT install on angled ceilings, suspended ceilings, or any ceiling that cannot securely support the product between floor and ceiling. The pole must be perpendicular to the floor and ceiling.
- Ensure protective rubber pads engage the ceiling and floor with equally distributed force.
- If the product is removed, it must be reinstalled per assembly instructions.
- Regularly check the product for proper installation and positioning. Do not use on unstable surfaces.
- This product is not intended for use inside a bathtub or shower.
- Additional safety measures are required for high-risk users (e.g., those not mentally conscious, with size/weight conditions, or impaired mobility).
- Stander is not liable for harm resulting from improper use or assembly.
- In case of a serious event, contact Stander immediately and report to the competent authority.
WARNING: ENTRAPMENT AND FALL HAZARD
- Do NOT use or place near any type of bed to prevent entrapment risk.
- Install the product at a safe distance from the pole to allow users to walk around it, preventing entrapment between the pole and adjacent objects. Small gaps can entrap and cause injury or death.
- Ensure the rotating handle's spring-loaded pin is locked into position before use. Failure to do so can lead to falls and serious injury.
- Individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or those who are sedated, confused, or frail are at increased risk.
- Do NOT install on rugs or other moveable objects.
- Do NOT install on floor conditions that allow the base to slide or slip. If the base moves, the product is unsafe.
- Failure to comply with these conditions can result in entrapment or falls.

Assembly Instructions
Hardware / Tools: Includes parts labeled A through K (quantities specified in diagrams).
Step 1: Unpack and Identify Parts
Remove the product from the box and identify all parts as shown in FIGURE 1.

Step 2: Assemble Pole Sections
Insert part A into part B. Align the holes and insert pin J as shown in FIGURE 2. Secure pin J with cotter pin K.

Note: For a 7-foot ceiling, remove part B and attach part A to part C, then proceed to Step 4.
Step 3: Adjust Height and Secure Pole
Determine the height between the floor and ceiling. Align the appropriate hole in part B with the hole in part C and insert pin J as shown in FIGURE 3. Secure pin J with cotter pin K.

Step 4: Insert Lower Pole Section
Twist part D to its highest position. Insert part C into part E as shown in FIGURE 4.

Step 5: Position Floor Base
Place part F on the floor at the target location and insert part E. Ensure that the half-hole in part E is straddling the rod in part F as shown in FIGURE 5.

Step 6: Secure Pole Between Floor and Ceiling
Ensuring the product is level, tighten part D using part G as shown in FIGURE 6. Continue tightening until the product is securely fixed between the floor and ceiling with absolutely no sliding.

Step 7: Optional Additional Securing
To additionally secure the product, use the provided screws (H) as shown in FIGURE 7. Ensure screws (H) go through the ceiling joists. If the floor is ceramic or concrete, drill holes first.
