Limited Warranty

Stander, Inc. warrants the product against defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. The warranty covers normal use and does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized alterations, or improper installation. Key Warnings & Precautions

Proper installation is critical. Follow all instructions meticulously. Improper installation significantly increases the risk of entrapment. Ensure the product is used only with compatible mattresses (innerspring or memory foam) and that no gaps are present between the product and the mattress. Never remove securing components like clamps or safety straps.

WARNING: Gaps in and around the product can cause entrapment, strangulation, suffocation, and falls, potentially leading to serious injury or death. Individuals with cognitive impairments, or those who are sedated or frail, are at higher risk. Ensure the product is always secured tightly against the mattress without gaps, and positioned correctly relative to the headboard and footboard.

Users with certain physical or mental conditions (e.g., dementia, frailty, impaired judgment) are at increased risk. It is the installer/user's responsibility to consult a physician before use if any such conditions exist.

This product is for balance and support, not for carrying the full weight of an individual. Keep children away from the product. Re-tighten components as needed, especially after changing bed linens.

Assembly & Installation Overview

Follow the step-by-step instructions and diagrams provided to correctly assemble and install the Stander Bed Cane. Key steps include:

1. Verify all components are present.
2. Determine the side of the bed for installation.
3. Place the base between the mattress and box spring, orienting the handle towards the foot of the bed.
4. Ensure the top of the handle is positioned 4 inches above the mattress.
5. Secure the handle to the base bracket using the provided bolts and Allen wrench.
6. Loop and tighten the safety strap around the bed frame to secure the product.
