Getting Started with Apple Find My
To set up your LOC8 Finder Fob 2:
- Ensure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version and has Bluetooth activated.
- Press the button on your LOC8 Finder Fob 2 once; a beep indicates it's ready for pairing.
- Open the Apple Find My app on your iPhone.
- Tap the '+' icon and select 'Add Other Item' to pair your LOC8 Finder Fob 2.
Within the Find My app, you can check the last known location, play a sound on the fob for nearby items, or get directions to its location.
Charging and Battery Status
To charge the LOC8 Finder Fob 2, connect the included sleeve to a wall charger via its USB-C port. The LED status light indicates charging:
- Orange: Charging
- Green: Fully charged
A full charge provides up to 6 months of battery life. Low battery notifications will be sent via the Find My app.
Using Lost Mode
If your item is misplaced, activate Lost Mode through the Find My app:
- Open the Find My app and tap the 'Items' icon.

- Scroll to 'Enable Lost Mode' and tap 'Continue'.
