Before First Use
- Before using your pizza oven for the first time, run the appliance with the lid closed for 10 minutes at power setting 5 to heat the stone and burn off any lubricant on the heating elements. This process does not affect performance and does not need to be repeated.
- Never pour oil or water directly onto the stone surface when cooking, seasoning, or cleaning.
- Never use a knife, pizza cutter, or metal objects on the stone surface to avoid damaging it.
- This oven is designed for fresh dough and frozen pizzas.
- For frozen pizzas, let them defrost before cooking for a crispier result.
- For fresh dough, sprinkle a little flour on the stone surface before placing the pizza. Add more flour if the dough is very sticky to prevent sticking.
Instructions for Use
- Ensure the main control dial is in the OFF position. Open the oven to ensure it is empty before switching it on.
- Plug the appliance into a 220V/240V socket.
- To switch on, turn the temperature control dial to maximum (5). A light will come on to indicate the oven is preheating. Preheating helps achieve a crisper result.
- Set the timer to 10 minutes for preheating. The oven will be ready to use after 10 minutes.
- Place the pizza dough on a board and add your favourite ingredients. Do not overfill the pizza or pile up ingredients. Ingredients must always be lower than the upper heating element to avoid burning.
- Check that the oven is properly preheated. Slide the pizza from the board onto the hot stones. Warning: The cooking surface and handle will be extremely hot. Do not touch them until they have cooled, or use oven gloves.
- Close the lid, leaving the dial at position 5. Let your pizza cook for 4-5 minutes or until desired result. Cooking time depends on dough thickness and ingredients.
- It is recommended to open the oven after 3 minutes to check cooking progress. If the pizza is not ready, close the lid and let it cook longer.
- If your pizza is cooking too quickly, turn the temperature control dial counter-clockwise to lower the temperature. Turn clockwise to raise it.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the appliance after each use.
- Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down before cleaning or repairing.
- Use a damp cloth only for the external surface. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not use metallic utensils, oil, water, or abrasive cleaning materials, as this can damage the non-stick finish and external surface. Remove any stuck foodstuffs with a plastic spatula and dry the surface with paper towels or a clean cloth.
- Do not use the stone surfaces as a cutting board, as this will damage them.
