4. Special Functions and Features
4.1 Remote control function with Samsung, Sony and Denon remotes
Argon SA1 is designed with IR commands from common Sony and Samsung TVs. This allows you to use your Sony or Samsung IR remote control for basic commands such as volume up, volume down, and mute.
If your remote control does not send IR commands (e.g., a Smart remote), some newer TVs support IR learning. This feature allows you to program your TV remote to control your SA1. Check your TV's setup menu for this feature. Consult your TV's manual if you are unsure.
4.2 Auto sense (APU Auto Power Up)
When in standby mode, the SA1 will automatically start up when you begin playing music from your source (Note: Auto sense is not available for the Phono/Turntable input).
Bluetooth devices will automatically connect to already paired devices.
You can disable the Auto sense feature by pressing and holding the Power button on the remote for 5 seconds. All LED indicators will light up for 2 seconds, indicating that APU is disabled. The SA1 will function normally with APU enabled upon the next power-on.
If you wish to disable auto sense on all inputs permanently, you should always power the amplifier off manually using the remote (and holding the power button for 5 seconds when doing so).
4.3 Auto standby (APD Auto Power Down)
The SA1 will automatically enter standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity (no music playing).
The timeout for Bluetooth connection loss with a Bluetooth device is also 15 minutes.
4.4 Un-Pair Bluetooth devices
To un-pair a Bluetooth device, press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash, and the device will be unpaired.
