Safety Instructions
Please read the following safety instructions carefully before using the Argon Audio Stream 3MK2:
- Unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use near water or moisture. Avoid spilling liquids on the product. Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Place the unit on a solid surface.
- Do not place the unit in a closed bookcase or cabinet that may obstruct ventilation openings.
- Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing appliances.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at the plug and where it exits the product.
- During lightning storms, unplug the product from the power source. If unused for long periods, unplugging also prevents lightning and power-line surge damage.
- Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards. Contact the manufacturer for referral to an authorized service center.
- Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral power circuits, as this can result in fire or electric shock.
- Never insert objects through product openings, as this can cause fire, electric shock, or damage.
- Use proper power sources. Plug the product into a power source as described in the operating instructions or marked on the product.
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN.
A lightning flash symbol with an arrowhead indicates the presence of un-insulated "dangerous voltage" within the product, which may pose a risk of electric shock.
An exclamation point symbol alerts the user to important operating and maintenance information found in the user manual.
Quick Start Setup
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is available.
- Connect the antenna cable to the Stream 3 MK2.
- Connect the Stream 3 MK2 to your device using the optical or RCA output.
- Plug the power supply into an electric outlet and into the back of the Stream 3 MK2.
- Upon connection, the Stream 3 MK2 will start up automatically and guide you through a setup process.
- In the setup guide, select your desired settings by using the [arrow-button] buttons on the remote and confirm your choices by pressing the [select-button].
- The final setup step is entering the Wi-Fi code. Use the [arrow-button] buttons to select letters/numbers for the password, confirming each character with the [select-button]. Once the password is fully entered, navigate to the "OK" area on the display using the [arrow-button] buttons and press the [select-button] to confirm. The Stream 3 MK2 will then connect to your network.
Basic Operation
- Use the [mode-button] to switch between modes: Internet Radio, Music Player, DAB, FM, AUX, Spotify, and Bluetooth.
- In Internet Radio mode, press the [menu-button] to access the Internet Radio Menu. To view station lists, select "Station List" from the Menu and press the [select-button].
- To see available stations, select "Stations" and press the [select-button]. You can then search and list stations by various criteria. Confirm your selection using the [select-button].
- When entering DAB mode for the first time, the Stream 3 MK2 will automatically search for available DAB stations.
- DAB stations can be selected by pressing the [arrow-button] buttons.
- Once a preferred station is found, press the [select-button] to play it.
- Automatic station search in FM mode is performed by pressing and holding the [autotune-button].
- To store a station in DAB or FM mode on a preset button, press and hold the desired preset button for 3 seconds while the station is playing. The display will show "Preset stored" upon successful storage.
- In Bluetooth mode, activate Bluetooth on your phone, tablet, or laptop. Search for "new device", add your Stream 3 MK2, and pair. The Stream 3 MK2 will then be connected and ready for playback.
