Important Safeguards
Read all instructions before operating. Do not touch hot surfaces. This appliance is not a toy. Unsupervised children and individuals with cognitive limitations should not operate. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquids. Unplug when not in use, before removing parts, and before cleaning. Allow to cool before handling parts or cleaning. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions or is damaged; return to nearest repair shop. Manufacturer does not recommend accessory attachments. Do not use outdoors; for household use only. Do not place near heat sources. Do not let the cord hang over edges or touch hot surfaces. Never leave unattended while in use or plugged in. Use extreme caution when moving an appliance with hot food. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn to "off" then remove plug from outlet.
Additional Important Safeguards
Operating Safety Precautions: Do not touch the Evaporator during use or ice making (risk of severe burns). Do not clean with flammable liquids. Check Ice Hopper for foreign objects. Do not turn unit upside down while in use or filled with ice.
Electrical Cord and Plug Instructions
The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other) for electrical shock risk reduction; it fits a polarized outlet only one way. If it doesn't fit, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug. A short power supply cord reduces entanglement/tripping risk. If using an extension cord, ensure its electrical rating is at least as great as the appliance's, and that it does not drape where it can be pulled or tripped over. Use in countries not supporting 120V AC is not recommended, even with adapters.

Helpful Tips
Add Water Indicator:
If the Add Water indicator is on:
- Turn off the unit, add water, and press POWER to restart.
- There might be too much ice. Turn off the unit and remove some ice from the basket.
Ice Cubes Stick Together:
If ice cycles are too long, stop and restart when cubes melt. Select smaller cube size.
Water temperature in the reservoir may be too low. Change water. Room temperature should be between 45°F - 90°F.
Ice Maker Not Working:
If the cycle runs but no ice is made:
- Ambient or water temperature may be too high. Unit requires environment below 90°F. Use colder water (45°F - 90°F).
