Hot water tubing, pure water tubing, and drain water tubing are shown connected to the system unit and the drainpipe.

Installation Tips

1. How to Use the Quick-Connect Fittings

To connect tubing: Ensure the tubing is pushed into the fitting until it reaches the existing mark (approximately 0.8 inches). Secure the connection by placing the blue lock clip onto the fitting. This locks the tubing in place and prevents it from falling off.

Diagram Description: Figure 1 shows a fitting with a mark for full insert (✔️) and a cross (❌) indicating an incomplete insertion.

NOTE: If the tubing is not fully inserted, a seal will not be created, leading to leakage.

If the tubing is too long, cut it to a suitable length with a sharp utility knife or scissors. Cut the tubing squarely and cleanly.

Diagram Description: Figure 2 shows a diagram illustrating how to cut tubing cleanly and squarely.

2. How to Drill a Hole into Your Sink or Countertop (Optional)

Confirm if an existing hole is available for the RO faucet. If not, drill a hole following these steps. It is recommended to watch a YouTube video for guidance. Wear safety glasses.

Diagram Description: Figure 4 illustrates drilling a hole in a sink edge.

General Installation Precautions:

WARNING: The system plug must be inserted into a grounding socket that complies with local codes and regulations. Ensure the system does not share the same power outlet as the garbage disposal.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Install the Feed Water Adapter (3/8" or 1/2")

a. Shut off the water supply. Turn on the kitchen faucet to release water pressure. Ensure water flow has stopped before proceeding. Use a towel or bucket for excess water.

b. Disconnect the cold water pipe from the cold water supply valve.

c. Twist the feed water adapter onto the cold water supply valve (with its washer) and tighten with an adjustable wrench. The "INLET" water tubing is pre-attached.

Diagram Description: Figure 5 shows the feed water adapter connecting to a 3/8" cold water pipe with white PE tubing (INLET). Figure 6 shows how to unscrew converters for a 1/2" cold water pipe.

NOTE: If the cold water pipe is 1/2", unscrew the converters from the feed water adapter before step c.

d. Twist the cold water pipe (with its washer) onto the feed water adapter and tighten with an adjustable wrench.

Step 2: Install the Smart Faucet

If your sink or countertop lacks an existing hole, drill one (1 inch diameter) as described on Page 4.

a. Insert the faucet stem, power cord, and filtered water tubing into the decoration base and the countertop hole.

b. Under the sink, slip on the nut and tighten it.

Diagram Description: Figure 7 illustrates the faucet installation under the countertop, showing the nut and decoration base. It also indicates a maximum rotation angle of 120°.

NOTE: The maximum rotation angle of the faucet is 120°. Use the faucet within this range. Do not pull the faucet hard to avoid damage.

Step 3: Install the Drain Saddle

a. Stick the foam seal onto the front plate of the drain saddle, aligning the holes.

b. Choose a convenient spot on the drainpipe for the drain saddle. Drill a 1/4" hole in the drainpipe, ensuring not to penetrate the opposite side.

NOTE: Installation on the vertical drainpipe is recommended.

c. Slip the front plate over one end of the tubing (without a mark) and insert the tubing into the drilled hole for about 0.6 inches.

Diagram Description: Figure 8 shows the drain saddle front plate with foam seal. Figure 9 shows tubing inserted into the front plate. Figure 10 shows the lock clip securing the connection.

d. Position the back plate on the drainpipe and tighten the screws and nuts evenly, keeping the tubing in place.

WARNING: To ensure smooth drainpipe and exhaust, the drain water tubing must not touch the side wall of the drainpipe. During heating, do not pull out the waste water tubing from the sewer to avoid scalding.

e. Pop the lock clip onto the fitting to secure the connection.

NOTE: In some areas, drain tubing must connect to the drainpipe through an air gap. Air gap accessories must be purchased separately.

Step 4: Position the System Housing

Ensure sufficient space under the countertop for the system (6.7” *17.5” *16.6"). Allow 2 inches of clearance around the system.

a. The power-supply receptacle should be installed in the cabinet or on the wall adjacent to the undercounter space.

b. An opening, no larger than 1.5 inches (38 mm) in its longest dimension, is needed in the partition for the attachment plug.

c. If the partition is wood, the opening edges should be smooth and rounded. If metal, use an edge protector.

d. Exercise caution when installing or removing the appliance to prevent damage to the supply cord.

NOTE: Position the front panel facing you for convenient filter replacement and indicator checking. Adjust placement as needed for your under-sink layout.

The system must be installed horizontally, not tilted, on its side, lying on its side, or inverted.

Diagram Description: Figure 11 shows the dimensions of the system unit.

Step 5: Connect Tubing

Confirm tubing length and cut if necessary, referring to "How to Use the Quick-Connect Fittings" on page 3.

Remove plugs from corresponding water ports before connecting tubing.

Connect Tubing:

Troubleshooting

a. After the system is plugged in, it cannot be powered on.

b. No water comes out of the faucet or the faucet discharges water slowly.

c. High TDS of filtered water.

The system offers 90%+ TDS rejection after full flushing. If TDS is high:

d. Filtered water from the RO faucet tastes like tap water.

e. Water is not hot when taking hot water.

f. Hear the heating sound of the system every once in a while.

The system automatically heats water if the heating tank temperature drops below 4°C/7.2°F of the set temperature. You can disable the heating indicator if hot water is not needed.

g. The outlet water temperature is inconsistent with the temperature displayed on the screen.

h. The maximum temperature of the system is set below 203°F/ 95°C.

The system automatically determines the local boiling point. If it's below 95°C/203°F, the system reduces the maximum heating temperature by 5°C/9°F to prevent boiling and scalding.

i. Loud sound of RO system.

The sound should not exceed 65 dB. If it's loud:

j. The heating switch cannot be turned on.

System Maintenance

If the system is not used for a long time:

When using the system again:

Replace filters regularly according to the filter life indicator.

NOTE: Filter performance is tested in a lab but actual service may vary. Replace filters promptly if blocked.
