Haylou T17 True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds User Manual
Product Introduction
The Haylou T17 features a compact design with integrated microphone (MIC), LED indicators, touch control areas, wear detection pins, and charging contacts.
Wearing the Earbuds
1. Before first use, tear off the protective film from the charging contacts of both earbuds and fully charge the charging case and earbuds.
2. Gently insert the earbuds into your ear canal and adjust for the best fit.

Charging
Earbud Charging: Place earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. The earbud indicator light will be solid red and turn off when fully charged.
Charging Case Charging: 1. Use a charging cable (Type-C). 2. Wireless charging.
The charging case indicator light will slowly flash red while charging and turn off when fully charged.
When the charging case is low on battery, opening the lid will cause the three white lights on the case to flash simultaneously three times, followed by one white light flashing for 30 seconds before turning off.
Power On
Earbuds power on automatically when the charging case is opened.
Power Off
- Place the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid for automatic power off.
- If earbuds are powered on and not connected to any device for 5 minutes, they will automatically power off.
Pairing and Connection
- Automatic Connection:
Take both earbuds out of the charging case simultaneously. Open your device's Bluetooth and search for "Haylou T17 R" or "Haylou T17 L". Click to connect. After about 2 seconds, a pop-up window on your device will prompt to pair the other earbud; click to pair and connect. If the connection fails, place the earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and repeat the process. After the first connection, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on (Bluetooth must be enabled).
Note: Earbuds are initialized before leaving the factory and can be used directly. - App Connection:
a) Scan the QR code on the packaging or search for "HAYLOU App" in your mobile app store to download and install the app. Log in to the app.
b) For the first connection with the app, open the earbud charging case with the earbuds inside, and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
c) Open the "HAYLOU" App, select "Add Device" on the device page, and follow the on-screen prompts to search and bind the earbuds.
d) If the earbuds are paired and connected to your phone's Bluetooth, click "More Settings" on the pop-up window to successfully bind the earbuds with the app. - Earbud Pop-up Function:
a) Open and log in to the "HAYLOU" App.
b) Open the earbud case, and a pop-up window will appear on your phone.
c) Click "Connect" to bring up the Bluetooth pairing prompt for your phone and earbuds. Follow the prompts to complete pairing.
d) Once the earbuds are paired and connected to your phone's Bluetooth, click "More Settings" on the pop-up window to successfully bind the earbuds with the app.
Notes:
1. Actual operations may differ slightly from the descriptions; follow the instructions within the app.
2. Ensure the charging case and earbuds are sufficiently charged, and Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
3. Due to iOS system limitations, the open-lid pop-up function is not supported.
Function Description
- Put on/Take off Earbuds: Play/Pause music.
- Single Tap on Earbud (L/R): Play/Pause music.
- Double Tap on Left Earbud (L): Play previous song.
- Double Tap on Right Earbud (R): Play next song.
- Single Tap on Earbud (L/R): Answer/end call.
- Long Press Earbud (1.5s): Reject incoming call.
- Triple Tap on Earbud (L/R): Activate voice assistant.
Earbud Reset
- Take the earbuds out of the charging case. Long-press both touch control areas for 4.5 seconds until the red light appears, then release.
- Long-press both touch control areas for 11 seconds. The earbuds will flash red and white lights alternately twice (first flash at 7 seconds, second at 11 seconds). Then, the earbuds will show a solid red light for 2 seconds and power off. Release the touch areas.
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case and charge them. Then take them out to power on. This will clear the Bluetooth pairing records on your device, allowing for re-pairing and connection.
Other Charging Scenarios
If earbuds are fully charged while the charging case lid is open, the earbud indicator light will remain solid white, indicating they are fully charged.

Daily Maintenance
Avoid wearing earbuds while showering, in the rain, using a washing machine, or in extreme temperatures. After each normal use, wipe off sweat or rain with a dry cloth to effectively extend the earbuds' lifespan.
