Introduction

SNZB-02D is a Zigbee smart temperature and humidity sensor, equipped with an LCD high-definition display that displays temperature and humidity data in real-time, which is intuitive and easy to read. Paired with a Zigbee gateway, you can monitor temperature and humidity changes in real-time through the APP, store and export historical data, push notifications, voice inquiries, and link with other devices to achieve your home automation.

Device Components

The device has the following components:

1. Signal icon: ? Flashes slowly: Device is in pairing mode. Keeps on: Pairing successful. Keeps off: Pairing failed.
2. Display screen: Shows current temperature and humidity.
3. Battery: Compartment for the battery.
4. Stand: Foldable stand for desktop placement.
5. Button: Press and hold for 5 seconds: Device enters pairing mode (Pairing time 180s). Single press: Device wake-up/Reconnection. Double-press: Switch temperature unit °C/°F (Factory default is °C).
6. Base: The bottom part of the device.

Power On the Device

To power on the device:

1. Take out the battery insulation sheet.
2. When the device is used for the first time, it will enter pairing mode by default after being powered on, and the signal icon (?) will be in a "slow flashing state".

Please download the "eWeLink" App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Scan QR Code to Add Device

1. Open the eWeLink app and enter "Scan".
2. Scan the QR code on the device.
3. Select "Add Device".
4. Long press the pairing button for 5 seconds.
5. The signal icon (?) will flash slowly for 180s.
6. Select your Zigbee gateway.
7. Wait until the addition is done.

Matched Gateways

SONOFF Gateways: ZBBridge, ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge–U, NSPanel PRO, iHost, ZBDongle-P, ZBDongle-E.

Third-party compatible gateway models: Amazon Gateway Model: Echo Plus 2nd, Echo 4th Gen, Echo Show 2nd.

Other gateways supporting ZigBee3.0 wireless protocol are also compatible. Detailed information is in accordance with the final product.

Effective Communication Distance Verification

Place the device in your desired location and press the device's pairing button. If the signal icon (?) on the screen remains on, it indicates that the device is within the effective communication distance of the router device or gateway within the same Zigbee network.

Installation

1. Place on the desktop

Open the stand and place the device on a flat surface. The stand allows for an angle of up to 120°.

2. Install with base

• 2-1 Attach to the metal surface: Use the magnetic base to attach the device to a metal surface.
• 2-2 Stick on the wall: Use the included 3M adhesive base to stick the device to a wall.

*The equipment is only suitable for mounting at heights ≤ 2 m.

Default Comfort Level

Battery Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the battery:

1. Loosen the screws on the bottom cover.
2. Pry open the bottom cover using a suitable tool.
3. Remove the bottom cover to access the battery.

Factory Reset

Reset the device to factory settings by selecting "Delete device" on the eWeLink App.

WARNING: Battery Hazards

⚠️ Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.

• This product contains a coin/button cell battery.

• If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.

Battery Disposal and Warnings

Warning: Contains coin battery. The icon must be at least 7 mm in width and 9 mm in height and must be on the product display panel.

• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.
• Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
• Call a local poison control center for treatment information.

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.

• Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.
