User Tips

This portable air conditioner is ideal for spot cooling. It integrates the compressor, condenser, and evaporator into a compact unit, dehumidifying and cooling air while releasing heat outside via a flexible hose. Permanent installation is not required, making it easy to move and offering versatile air conditioning solutions.

For optimal efficiency in air conditioning or dehumidifier mode, keep all doors and windows closed. When using in fan mode, leave windows open to improve air circulation.

IMPORTANT: Before installation, place the unit upright for 1 hour to allow refrigerant to settle. The air outlet opens automatically when turned on and closes when turned off. Follow installation instructions to set up the unit.

Remote Control Layout:

The remote control mirrors the unit's control panel functions, including buttons for Power, Mode (Cool, Heat, Dry, Fan), Temperature/Timer Up/Down, Fan Speed, Timer, Sleep, Auto Clean, and Auto Swing.

Installation Guide

Exhaust Installation

The air conditioner must be installed near a window to connect the exhaust hose to the window.

Tools and Hardware Needed:

  1. Extend the exhaust hose and attach the exhaust connector to one end.
  2. Attach the exhaust connector to the back of the unit.
  3. Attach the window adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
  4. Attach the window adapter to the window slider kit.
  5. Adjust the length of the window slider kit according to your window dimensions.

Window Kit Installation

  1. Open the window sash and place the window kit horizontally on the stool or vertically against the jamb. Adjust its length accordingly.
  2. Close the window sash onto the window kit.

NOTE: If the window width is shorter than the minimum length of the window kit, the kit can be cut. Cutting will reduce its maximum extension length.

ATTENTION: Ensure the exhaust hose is not folded, as this can lead to lower efficiency or malfunction.

Grounding

This product must be grounded to reduce the risk of electric shock. It is equipped with a three-pronged grounded plug and must be plugged into a matching grounding type receptacle according to electrical codes.

CAUTION! WARNING: Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt. DO NOT modify the plug; have a proper outlet installed if needed.

Integrated Circuit Breaker Test:

  1. Plug the unit into a power socket. Press the "TEST" button; the "RESET" button should pop up.
  2. Press the "RESET" button to engage the circuit breaker.

User Instruction (Operating)

Power ON/OFF

Plug the unit into a grounded socket; the display will show ambient temperature and enter stand-by mode. Press the POWER button once to turn on (unit defaults to COOL mode at 22°C/72°F, medium fan speed). Press POWER again to turn off.

CAUTION! WARNING: DO NOT unplug the unit when it is "ON".

Operating Modes:

Timer Function

Sleep Mode

Press UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously to enable sleep mode. The sleep indicator will light. Sleep function is ineffective in fan or dehumidify mode.

Auto Swing

Press UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously to auto swing. The auto swing indicator will light. The horizontal louvers will swing automatically.

Toggle °F/°C

Press UP and DOWN simultaneously to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

User Instruction (Remote Battery)

Insert or Replace Batteries on Remote Control

Remove the back cover of the remote control. Replace old batteries with two new AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries. Replace the cover.

NOTE: Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period.

Using the Remote Control

Point the remote control at the unit's control panel. The remote control buttons mimic the same functions as those on the unit's control panel.

User Instruction (Wi-Fi Function)

This air conditioner has Wi-Fi functionality, allowing control via a smartphone app. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi router and the internet.

  1. Scan the QR code or search "Tuya Smart" in your app store.
  2. Register an account using your mobile number or email, following in-app instructions.
  3. Add your device by selecting "Air Conditioner" under the "Large Home Appliance" category.
  4. Touch the "Timer" button on the air conditioner control panel for 5 seconds; the Wi-Fi icon should blink rapidly.
  5. Tap "confirm indicator rapidly blink" on your phone.
  6. Enter your Wi-Fi password and confirm. (Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported).
  7. Wait until the device is successfully added.
  8. Once completed, you can control your unit via your phone to set timers, change modes, adjust temperature, and access other functions.

NOTE: Instructions are based on the app version at the time of writing. Follow in-app instructions for app updates.

Care and Maintenance

Water Drainage

Condensate accumulates inside the unit during operation. A "Tank Full" indicator will display when the tank is full. Drain the water to ensure proper unit function.

  1. Unplug the unit from all power sources.
  2. Move the unit to a suitable drain location or place an empty container under the drain.
  3. Unscrew the drain cap and remove the plug to drain water.
  4. Replace the plug and screw the drain cap back on once draining is complete.

NOTE: You may need to drain the unit more frequently in high humidity environments.

Air Filter Cleaning

The air filter needs regular cleaning for efficient operation.

  1. Unplug the unit from all power sources.
  2. Remove the filter from the unit.
  3. Gently immerse the filter in warm water.
  4. Add mild detergent to remove dirt, particles, and pollutants.
  5. Allow the filter to completely dry before replacing it back into the unit.

CAUTION! WARNING: DO NOT operate the unit without the air filter.

Storage

Store your unit properly when not in use for an extended period to prevent wear and damage.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Completely drain the water tank.
  3. Clean the air filter.
  4. Remove the battery from the remote control.
  5. Cover the unit with a plastic sheet to protect from dust and debris.
  6. Store the unit in a dry, cool place.

NOTE: Store the unit in a location not subject to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Before using the unit again:

  1. Ensure the power cord and unit housing are in good condition without cracks or damage.
  2. Make sure the air filter and drain cap are in place.
  3. Place new batteries in the remote control.
  4. Install the unit following the installation instructions.

Warranty Information

All items can be returned within 60 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the item and accessories are returned in original packaging. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number, obtained from DELLA customer service. Items received without an RA may not be accepted or may delay processing. Refunds or replacements are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.

Returns must be shipped to the DELLA return center at the customer's expense. If the return is due to a DELLA error, a pre-paid shipping label will be provided via email. DELLA does not provide return boxes; customers must use original boxes or purchase new ones. Pictures may be required to confirm no damage prior to return.
