Unbox & Mow: Quick Start Guide for Vision Robotic Lawn Mower
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to set up and start your Worx Vision robotic lawn mower.
Getting Started: Unbox & Mow
-
Assemble the Charging Station
Connect all pieces of the charging base as shown in the diagrams. The base of the charging station is typically found at the bottom of the product box.
-
Place the Charging Station
Choose a flat, level area for the charging station. It is properly leveled if the Vision mower can be pushed onto the charging terminals without lifting or adjustment.
-
Position & Connect the Charging Station
Position the charging station so the Vision mower can enter it from a counterclockwise path. The right side of the station should be near the edge of the lawn. Plug the charging station into a 120V outlet. The weather-resistant power supply can be mounted with screws or placed on the ground.
-
Assemble Headlight Accessory
Attach the headlight accessory to the Vision mower using the provided screws. Remove the plastic protective caps from both the light connection and the mower connection before connecting. The headlight is included with models WR220, WR230, and WR235.
-
Insert Battery & Begin Charging
Insert the battery into the compartment located on top of the mower. Place the Vision mower onto the charging station and push it onto the charging terminals. To begin charging, press the Power On button, located to the right of the central knob on the mower. The initial default code is "0000".
-
Download App & Connect Vision
Download the free Worx Landroid App on your mobile device and create an account. Follow the app instructions to "Add Landroid" by scanning the QR code located within Vision's battery compartment. [Scan QR code for app download]
-
Connect to Wi-Fi & Finish Setup
Follow the app instructions to pair Vision with your phone. Select "Wi-Fi" when prompted for connection type. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
-
Start Mowing
Once connected, press the [Start button] on Vision's control panel, then press the control dial for mowing to begin. Wait for Vision to exit the charging station. When the LCD screen displays "Is it the identified mowing zone?", select "Yes" by pressing the control dial. Vision will then start mowing.
*Important*: If Vision has trouble returning to the base after its first run, reposition the charging station (see Step 3) and try again until re-docking is successful.

Give Vision More Direction
Customize Vision for your unique lawn layout with these instructions for magnetic strips and RFID tags.
Using Magnetic Strips
Magnetic strips help prevent Vision from crossing into grassy areas connected to the mowing area, such as steep drop-offs, neighboring lawns, or ditches.
Installation:
- Place the magnetic strip around the border, ensuring at least 13 inches of clearance.
- Secure the strip to the ground using the included stakes.
- When installing between continuous lawn areas, curve the ends of the strip inward toward the mowing area. You can also create a closed loop around a no-mow zone, like a pit.
- Once in place, Vision will automatically recognize the barrier.

Using RFID Tags
RFID tags are used to establish multi-zone mowing for yards with separate lawn areas.
Installation:
- Place a tag on both sides of the divider between separate lawn sections, such as a pathway or driveway.
- Each tag should be positioned approximately 20 to 24 inches away from the edge of the driveway, pathway, or sidewalk.
- Ensure the non-grassy area has no obstacles and is not raised more than 3 cm above the lawn.
- Use the hex key to drive the included nails through the tag and into the ground.
- After installation, follow the "Lawn Explore Instructions". This step is required whenever new tags are set up so Vision can properly establish zones.

Lawn Explore Instructions
Lawn Explore must be completed to set up multi-zone mowing with RFID tags. Select "Lawn Explore" from the General Settings menu on the control panel. Vision will then travel the edge of the lawn to understand new mowing zones and return to the charging station.
