This new iconic, accessible, and modern vehicle from the B-segment is designed for urban mobility. Following the recent launch of the all-electric version, the focus now shifts to the hybrid variant, signifying Fiat's return to the core of the B-segment with an intelligent and accessible vehicle for city driving.

Design: A Blend of Iconic Inspiration and Modern Boldness

The exterior design is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Panda from the 1980s. With its wedge shape, robust stance, and surprising details, the Grande Panda stands out as both iconic and innovative. Distinctive LED PXL headlights evoke retro video games, while cube-shaped taillights and darkened pillars emphasize a strong visual identity. Details such as the 3D "PANDA" lettering in low relief on the doors and "FIAT" on the rear, a lenticular graphic on the C-pillar, and the gloss black frame reinforce its authentic character.

The interior continues to impress. The compact exterior hides a surprisingly spacious interior, boasting best-in-class shoulder room, modular storage, and an expressive design. The Blu Tasmania color scheme of the cabin is energized by bright yellow accents on the instrument panel, infotainment area, and seat stitching, creating a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. With a generous 412-liter boot capacity, the hybrid version of the Grande Panda offers ample space for daily shopping and family needs. Its functionality is further enhanced by intelligent storage solutions throughout the cabin, such as the 13-liter dashboard compartment, with 3 liters integrated into a single compartment.

Sustainability and design merge with innovation in materials, notably the BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex® panel, an exclusive fabric containing 33% real bamboo fibers. This unique finish not only references natural design but also exemplifies Fiat's commitment to circular materials. In fact, 140 recycled beverage packages are used in the manufacturing of each Grande Panda, reusing non-recyclable layers in Lapolen Ecotek, an impressive blue plastic with a glossy aluminum finish, used throughout the interior.

The Grande Panda Hybrid Powertrain

The centerpiece of this launch is the Grande Panda Hybrid, introducing a new era of intelligent and electrified mobility. At its heart lies the innovative T-Gen3 hybrid propulsion system, featuring a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo engine developing 110 hp, combined with a 48V lithium-ion battery and a sophisticated 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (eDCT). This system seamlessly integrates a 21 kW electric motor, an inverter, and a central control unit, enabling smooth, efficient, and quiet driving.

The hybrid system offers numerous everyday advantages. Through functions like e-launch, e-creeping, and e-parking, the Grande Panda Hybrid can operate in fully electric mode during low-speed maneuvers, allowing for up to 1 km of purely electric driving at speeds below 30 km/h. These features result in smoother acceleration, quiet city driving, and lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, partly thanks to Miller cycle combustion. The eDCT transmission further enhances efficiency and provides a relaxed two-pedal driving experience, embodying Fiat's "easy drive" philosophy.

Versions: POP, ICON, and LA PRIMA

Each of the three versions – POP, ICON, and LA PRIMA – offers specific features combining value, technology, and comfort.

POP Version

The POP version presents the essentials without compromise: ADAS functionalities, manual air conditioning, a 10-inch digital panel, automatic eDCT transmission, electric parking brake (EPB), and an NFC-based Auto-launch smartphone dock. Users can easily interact with their digital environment thanks to a dedicated Home button that simplifies access to their screen or favorite application.

ICON Version

The ICON version adds a superior level of comfort and personalization. It includes a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with 6 speakers, full LED headlights and taillights, and three customizable upgrade packs: Tech, Style, and Winter. The Tech pack includes automatic climate control, navigation, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and wireless charging. The Style pack introduces 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, darkened windows, and skid plates, while the Winter pack (available only with the Tech pack) includes heated seats, steering wheel, and windshield.

LA PRIMA Version

At the top of the range, the LA PRIMA version combines all packs, along with 17-inch alloy wheels, premium interior finishes, and exclusive use of BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex® on the dashboard. It is the most complete, elegant, and technologically advanced version in the range.

Advanced Driver Assistance and Connectivity Services

Safety and connectivity are fundamental to the Grande Panda Hybrid experience. All versions are equipped with a comprehensive suite of ADAS, including cruise control, speed limiter, active safety braking, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, and door-open alerts. The LA PRIMA version further enhances this offering with front sensors and a rear-view camera.

Connectivity is supported via the integrated 10" digital panel, a central 10.25" touchscreen, and wireless smartphone mirroring. Customers benefit from multiple USB-C ports, a wireless charger, and seamless digital integration. FIAT offers two service packs: Connect ONE, which includes Emergency Call, Travel Assistance, and Vehicle Health Reports; and Connect PLUS, which adds the Vehicle Locator function and other services aimed at improving maintenance, such as vehicle information and status alerts, available through the FIAT mobile app. Additional services will be available in the future to expand the connected services portfolio.
