Recommendations and Suggestions
The instructions for Use apply to several versions of this appliance. Accordingly, you may find descriptions of individual features that do not apply to your specific appliance.
Installation
The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or improper installation.
- Minimum distance between the supporting surface for cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood: At least 65 cm for gas appliances. This distance can be reduced for non-combustible parts or parts operating at safety extra low voltage, provided they do not give access to live parts if deformed. Consult gas hob installation instructions for specific requirements.
- Verify that the mains voltage corresponds to the rating plate on the hood.
- For Class I appliances, ensure the domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.
- Connect the extractor to the exhaust flue using a pipe of minimum diameter 120mm. Keep the flue route as short as possible.
- Do not discharge air into a flue used for exhausting fumes from gas or other fuel appliances.
- If the extractor is used with non-electrical appliances (e.g., gas burning appliances), ensure sufficient room aeration to prevent backflow of exhaust gas. The kitchen must have an opening communicating directly with the open air for clean air entry.
- When used with appliances powered by energy other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Regulations concerning air discharge must be fulfilled.
Use
- The cooker hood is for home use only, not suitable for commercial purposes like barbecues or roast shops.
- Never use the hood for purposes other than its design.
- Never leave high naked flames under the hood during operation.
- Adjust flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only, ensuring it does not engulf the sides.
- Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use; overheated oil can burst into flames.
- Do not flame under the range hood; risk of fire.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
Maintenance
The cooker hood and its filters should be cleaned regularly.
- Switch off or unplug the appliance from the mains supply before any maintenance.
- Clean and/or replace filters after the specified period (Fire hazard).
- Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.
- The appliance supports a maximum of 4 hob elements.

Installation
Wall Drilling and Bracket Fixing
Diagram Description: Illustrates the process of marking points on the wall for bracket installation. It shows a vertical reference line and horizontal lines A, B, and C at specified distances. Points (1), (2), and (3) are marked on these lines. A table shows 'Option' and corresponding 'Chimney' and 'X' dimensions.
Installation Steps:
- Draw a vertical line up to the ceiling at the center of the installation area.
- Draw a horizontal line A at 835-935 mm above the cooker top.
- Draw a horizontal line B at a distance 'X' mm above line A.
- Draw a horizontal line C at 116 mm below line A.
Mark Points:
- Mark point (1) on line A, 80 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side, ensuring marks are level.
- Mark point (2) on line B, 40 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side, ensuring marks are level.
- Mark point (3) on line C, 155 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side, ensuring marks are level.
Fix the Brackets (Optional)
- Drill holes at the marked points using a 10 mm drill bit.
- Insert Wall Plugs 11 into the holes.
- Screw 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) into Wall Plugs 11 at horizontal line A. Approximately four-fifths of the screw length should be inserted. These screws are used to hook the hood.
- Fix a Chimney fixing bracket 21 with 2 screws 10 (5x50) at horizontal line B.
Hook the Hood Body
- Hook the hood body to the 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) at horizontal line A.
- Level the hood body.
- Remove the filter from the inside of the hood body. Fix screws 10 to Wall Plugs 11 at points (3).
Diagram Description: Shows the correct and incorrect methods for mounting the hood body. The correct method shows the hood properly attached, while the wrong method shows it incorrectly positioned.
Connections (Ducted Version Air Exhaust System)
- Connect the hood to the chimney using a flexible or rigid pipe of Ø 150 mm or Ø 120 mm.
- If installing a Ø 120 mm air exhaust connection, insert the reducer flange 3 on the hood body outlet.
- Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
- Remove any charcoal filters if using a ducted system.
Chimney Assembly
The chimney can only be installed with an exhausting hood.
Lower Decorative Chimney
- Fix the Lower Decorative Chimney to the hood body with 2 screws 12 (4.2 x 9.5) supplied with the hood.
Upper Decorative Chimney
- Fix the upper chimney onto the bracket 21 with 2 screws 12 (4.2 x 9.5) supplied with the hood.

Disposal of Old Electrical Appliances
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately to optimize recovery and recycling of materials, reducing impact on human health and the environment.
The ♻️ (crossed out wheeled bin) on the product reminds you of your obligation for separate collection when disposing of the appliance.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
