Easy@Home EHE015 Wireless TENS Unit - User Guide and FAQs

How do I use the TENS unit?

To use the TENS unit, first snap the enclosed electrode pad onto the control unit. Ensure your skin is clean, dry, and healthy for optimal use. Press and hold the '+' button for 3 seconds to change mode selection; the unit will beep to indicate different modes. To cycle through modes, release and press the '+' button again for 3 seconds each time. To set the stimulation time, press and hold the '-' button for 3 seconds. The unit will beep to indicate different stimulation times. To add 10 minutes, release and press the '-' button again for 3 seconds. Adjust intensity by pressing the '+' or '-' buttons. Turn the unit off when the session is complete.

How do you know when the unit is fully charged? How long does it take to charge for the first time?

The unit takes 2-4 hours to fully charge for the first time using a USB charger with a 5V and 1-2A output. The device will blink when it is fully charged.

Why is the TENS Unit not charging?

Charging the TENS unit via a computer USB may take an extended period. For faster and more efficient charging, use a USB charger with a 5V and 1.0-2.0A output.

Why does the TENS Unit turn off by itself after a few beeps?

If the electrode pad is not firmly pressed to the skin and you attempt to start the unit, it will beep 6 times before automatically shutting off. This indicates that the pad needs better contact with the skin and is a feature to conserve battery life when the device is not ready for proper functioning.

Why won't my device turn on?

Check if the battery is depleted; the device may need charging. The LCD will flash when turned on if the battery is low. Ensure the device is fully charged before use.

How do you apply the TENS pads correctly?

Snap the electrode pad onto the control unit, aligning the buttons vertically. Peel the clear side off the electrode pad and place the device on your selected body area. Clean the skin area with soap and water or a damp cloth, then ensure it is dry before applying the pad.

Why is the device not snapping into the snaps on the TENS pad?

This is usually due to poor alignment between the male and female parts of the snap connectors. Visually align the snap and holes before connecting them to ensure proper contact for operation.

Where can I purchase the replacement pads?

Replacement pads can be purchased from the official website by searching "Easy@Home Tens Pads" on Healthcare-manager.com. The model number for this unit is ETP015. For international customers, contact customer service for alternative purchasing options. Ensure you match the correct model number for replacement pads to avoid compatibility issues. Pads can also be purchased on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca by searching the ASIN "B07L9ZK332".

Why is my skin red or feeling numb?

If your skin feels numb, the treatment intensity may be too high, or you might be overusing the device. Reduce usage or lower the intensity. If your skin becomes red or develops a rash, you may be reacting to the gel on the pads. Individuals with sensitive skin may also experience redness or rash. Discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional if this occurs.

Why is the stimulation weak / non-existent?

Ensure the area of skin is clean and the pads are firmly attached. The battery may also be low and require charging.

How many times can you use the TENS unit per day?

It is recommended to use the unit once per day for 10-30 minutes. Start at the lowest intensity and gradually increase to a comfortable level.

Why won't my pads stick to my skin?

Pads lose adhesion over time and need replacement, typically after about 20 uses. If the electrode gel appears dry, add a few drops of water to rehydrate it; the adhesion should improve after a few seconds. Storing the pads directly on their original plastic backing after use will help prolong their life.

What types of pain cannot be treated with a TENS unit?

TENS units should not be used on the chest, genitals, face, head, or neck. Specialized machines with micro-currents are designed for these areas. Consult your physician for treatment options for these specific areas.
