Product Overview
The Netatmo Smart Rain Gauge is a device designed to measure rainfall. It connects wirelessly to the Netatmo ecosystem, allowing users to monitor rainfall data via a smartphone application.
Installation Guide
- Placement: Ensure the Smart Rain Gauge is placed in an open area, away from obstructions like trees or buildings. The recommended height for mounting is between 0.5 to 1.5 meters (2 to 5 feet). The indoor module (if applicable) should be placed within 3 meters (10 feet) of the rain gauge, with a maximum distance of 10 cm (4 inches) between the two components for optimal connection.
- Setup: Visit http://add.netatmo.com using your smartphone to add the device to your Netatmo account.
- Mounting: Refer to http://netatmo.com/mount for detailed mounting instructions. The product may be sold separately with mounting accessories.
Safety Warnings
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Battery Safety:
- Before inserting batteries, ensure contacts are clean.
- Observe polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, short-circuit them, or dismantle them.
- Keep batteries away from children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.
