1 Safety Precautions
Hearing Impact
To protect your hearing, avoid listening to your headphones at high volume for extended periods. If the volume is too high, the safe listening time will be reduced.
When using headphones, follow these guidelines:
- Listen at a moderate volume for a moderate duration.
- Avoid increasing the volume as your ears adapt to the sound.
- Do not listen at a volume that prevents you from hearing surrounding sounds.
- Use caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially dangerous situations.
High sound pressure levels from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
Using headphones that cover both ears while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in some areas. For your safety, do not let music or phone calls distract you when in traffic or other hazardous environments.
General Precautions
To avoid damage or malfunction:
- Do not expose headphones to high temperatures.
- Do not drop your headphones.
- Do not allow water or moisture to get into the headphones (check your product's IP rating).
- Do not immerse headphones in water.
- Do not charge headphones if the connector or socket is wet.
- Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive materials.
- If cleaning is necessary, wipe with a soft cloth. If needed, slightly dampen the cloth with a small amount of water or mild detergent.
- Do not expose the built-in battery to high temperatures such as direct sunlight or fire.
- There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type of battery.
- The specified IP rating cannot be achieved if the charging slot cover is not closed.
- Batteries may explode if disposed of in fire or heated mechanically or cut.
- Leaving a battery in an extremely hot surrounding environment may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- A battery subjected to extremely low pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- To prevent fire, the device should only be powered by external power sources that comply with PS1 (output power less than 15W).
Temperature and Humidity for Use and Storage:
- Store within a temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 50°C (122°F) (up to 90% relative humidity).
- Use within a temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F) (up to 90% relative humidity).
- Battery life may be shortened under extreme hot or cold conditions.
- Replacing the battery with an incorrect type (e.g., certain lithium battery types) may severely damage the headphones or battery.
