Bastian Werminghoff to Become New CEO of Philips Switzerland AG

Horgen, Switzerland – Effective September 1, 2025, Bastian Werminghoff will assume the role of Country Leader Switzerland and will simultaneously be appointed CEO of Philips Switzerland AG. The German native, who already resides in Switzerland, succeeds Rico Brecht, who has left the company. Bastian Werminghoff is also a member of the management team of the Philips DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Bastian Werminghoff brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector. From 2015 to 2020, he served as Business Leader for the Ultrasound division in the DACH region at Philips. Subsequently, he transitioned to the healthcare service provider Med 360° SE as Chief Technology Officer. In early 2024, his career path led him to Quartz Healthcare, where he was responsible for strategy and business development, M&A activities, and promoting the profitability of the healthcare company as Chief Commercial Officer and CEO.
