Installation
General Instructions: The appliance is built to meet various EU directives and standards. It is designed exclusively for cooking food. Installation, connection, and servicing must be performed by qualified personnel according to regulations. Ensure the appliance is installed under an extractor hood. Cooking surfaces become very hot.
Unit Characteristics: The appliance is made of stainless steel with cast iron burners. All models have adjustable feet. Gas pipe is galvanized steel, and pipes between tap and burner are copper.
Connection to Gas Distribution Network: Ensure gas company authorization. Remove packaging. Connect using metal pipes with a suitable shut-off cock. If flexible pipes are used, they must be stainless steel. Observe all regulations (safety, building codes, fire prevention, etc.). Install in a well-ventilated area or under an extractor hood. Appliances with electric ovens have a cable hole. Maintain a minimum distance of 80mm from flammable materials. Contact surfaces must be covered with non-combustible insulation. Do not install near heat sources. After installation, check for leaks using non-corrosive foam products (never open flames).
Evacuation of Burnt Gases: Install under an extraction hood with forced draught.
Checking the Pressure: Gas distribution network pressure must meet specified ranges for LPG and Methane-H. If not, inform the gas board and do not operate until resolved. Pressure can be measured with a U-manometer.
Electrical Connection: Check data plate specifications. The appliance is supplied with a power cable (3x1.5 H07RN-F). Install a standard plug or main switch for easy access and disconnection. The earth wire must never be disconnected. Cable must not be near heat sources. The appliance must be earthed and connected to an equipotential earth terminal.
Transformation and Adaptation: To convert to another gas type (e.g., LPG), nozzles must be changed. All nozzles are marked with their diameter. After conversion, an operating test is required, and the supplementary plate must be updated.
Operation
Putting the Range into Service: A temporary smell may occur during the first use due to production residues. For the first use, run the empty oven at its highest temperature for at least 1 hour. Clean the oven after each use.
Recommendations for Use: For best results, preheat the oven before placing food inside. Never line the oven walls with aluminum sheets.
Cooktop Burners: To turn on, press and turn the knob. Hold for ~10 seconds after ignition for the safety valve to open. To turn off, turn the knob to the '0' position.
Electric Oven: Cooking must be done with the door closed. Heating elements are controlled by a selector switch, and temperature by a thermostat (50-270°C). A green indicator light shows connection to mains. Set temperature using knob (Fig. 2C). Orange light indicates heating elements are on. Select manual or cooking time (10-120 min, Fig. 2D). To turn off, turn knobs to 0.
Gas Oven: Cooking must be done with the door closed. The burner has a safety valve. To turn on, open door, set knob to desired temperature (125-250°C, Fig. 2B), press piezoelectric igniter, and hold knob for ~10 seconds after pilot flame lights. Check flame through inspection cover (Fig. 3). To turn off, turn knob to '0'.
Long-Term Storage: Turn off the gas shut-off cock, clean, and dry the appliance.
Malfunctions: In case of suspected malfunction, ALWAYS CLOSE the gas shut-off cock and inform authorized after-sales service. Unauthorized persons must not attempt repairs.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Replacing Parts: Only qualified personnel should replace parts. Disconnect from gas and electricity supply before work.
Cleaning and Care: The unit must be cold for cleaning. Wash removable parts with warm water and detergent. Steel parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dried. For stubborn stains, use hot water and vinegar. Do not use harsh, abrasive detergents, steel wool, or iron cleaning pads on stainless steel. Avoid contact with ferrous materials. Use sponges (e.g., Scotch) or commercial oven/grill sprays. Follow product instructions. Enamelled parts should not be cleaned with abrasive or acid products. Clean the oven after each use to prevent residue buildup. Use biodegradable cleaning products (at least 90%).
Cleaning Inside the Oven: Turn off power/burner. Let oven cool. Clean with a damp cloth, warm water, and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive materials. Normal cooking temperatures help transform grease, making it easier to remove after cooling. Periodically heat the oven to maximum to remove residual dust.
Maintenance: No specific maintenance is required beyond regular cleaning. Annual checks by an authorized service center are recommended.
Safety Precautions: Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Surfaces get very hot. Intended for professional use only, operated by qualified personnel. Gas conversion/adaptation must be done by qualified personnel according to regulations. In case of fire, close gas shut-off cock and use a suitable extinguisher.
