Setting and Operating
The TM-610 can be programmed using the buttons on the front panel: [Menu], [OK], [+], [-], and [Res].
Notes:
- Pressing
[Menu]and[-]simultaneously for 3 seconds will clear all procedures, but former settings are retained. Pressing[Res]clears all procedures and settings. - If no operation is performed for 30 seconds on any setting screen, the device will automatically return to the clock screen without saving the current setting data.
- Due to the built-in lithium battery, the timer can be installed in a distribution box or control circuit after its procedures have been set.
Navigation and Interface Overview:
The device interface cycles through various settings via the [Menu] button. The [OK] button confirms selections or enters sub-menus. The [+] and [-] buttons are used to adjust values or select options. The [Res] button resets the current operation or clears settings.
Initial Interface:
Displays the current time and date.
Clock Set Interface:
Allows setting the Year, Month, Day, Hour, and Minute. The week is automatically synchronized after the date is set.
- Press
[Menu]until the clock icon flashes, then press[OK]. - The Year will flash. Use
[+]or[-]to select the year, then press[OK]. - Repeat the process for Month, Day, Hour, and Minute.
- Press
[Menu]to exit and save.
Program Setting Interface:
Enables setting up to 16 ON/OFF programs.
- From the clock screen, press
[Menu]until "prog" flashes, then press[OK]. - The first program (01 ON) will be displayed. Press
[OK]to set the ON time (Hour and Minute). - Use
[+]/[-]to set the hour, press[OK]. Set the minute, press[OK]. - The week setting screen appears, with Monday (1) flashing. Use
[+]to enable (copy) a day or[-]to disable it. Press[+]to move to the next day. - After setting the week for the ON time, press
[OK]to enter the OFF time setting. Repeat steps B-E for the OFF time. - Press
[OK]to proceed to the next program (02 ON/OFF) or press[Menu]to confirm and exit.
Note: Program, Pulse, and Countdown functions cannot be used simultaneously.
Pulse Control Program Setting:
Allows setting up to 32 pulse control channels, with durations from 1 to 99 seconds.
- From the clock display, press
[Menu]until the pulse icon flashes, then press[OK]to enter group 1 setting. - Press
[Menu]to set the Hour, press[OK]. Set the Minute, press[OK]. - The week setting screen appears. Follow the same procedure as Program Setting for day selection.
- Set the pulse control time duration (1-99 seconds) using
[+]/[-]and confirm with[OK]. - Press
[OK]to proceed to the next setting or press[Menu]to confirm and exit.
Countdown Setting Interface:
Enables setting a countdown timer, with a maximum duration of 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
- After pressing
[Res], use[+]/[-]to select the countdown option, then press[OK]. - Use
[+]/[-]to set the minutes, press[OK]. Set the seconds, press[OK]. - Press
[Res]to complete and exit. - Use
[+]and[-]to select the Auto OFF state for the countdown. - Press
[OK]and[+]to start or close the countdown.
Manual Function Setting:
Accesses settings for Control Ways, EXT, and Holiday modes.
- Press
[Menu]until "Man" flashes, then press[OK]. - Use
[+]/[-]to select the desired function (Control Ways, EXT, Holiday), then press[OK].
1. Control Ways Setting (Auto ON/ON/Auto OFF/OFF):
- Select "Auto" using
[+]/[-]and press[OK]. - The device will flash "OFF Auto". Use
[+]/[-]to cycle through the control ways:Auto ON,ON,Auto OFF,OFF. - Press
[Menu]to exit. Alternatively,[+]and[-]can cycle through these states directly.
2. EXT Setting:
Enables or disables the external control switch functionality. Requires an external switch connected to terminals 2 and 3.
- Select "EXT" using
[+]/[-]and press[OK]. - Choose between
OFF EXTorON EXTusing[+]/[-]. Press[Menu]to exit.
Notes on EXT Setting:
- The "EXT" indicator appears when set to
ON EXT. This function is only valid when the timer is inAuto ONorAuto OFFstates. - In
ONorOFFstates, the equipment is forced ON or OFF, overriding programmed procedures. - When
EXT OFFis set, the EXT input port is inactive, and the timer operates based on programmed procedures or pulses. - When
EXT ONis set, the EXT input port is active. Procedures or pulses execute only when the external switch is open. If the external switch closes, it overrides the programmed procedures or pulses.
3. Holiday Setting:
Allows setting up to 10 holiday periods within a year, each with specific ON/OFF settings.
- Select "Holiday" using
[+]/[-]and press[OK]. - Choose
ONorOFFfor the holiday period using[+]/[-]. - Press
[Menu]to enter the year setting screen (start time first, then end time). - Select the required year using
[+]/[-]and press[OK]to proceed to the date setting. - Select the required date using
[+]/[-]and press[OK]. The system automatically enters the setting screen for holidays (dates off). - Repeat steps B-E for each holiday period. Press
[Menu]to exit to the time screen.
