Sinotimer TM-619 Series Digital Panel-Mount Timer
General Information
This Panel-Mount Digital Timer series is designed for operation with 4 separate power supply ranges, from 240 Vac down to 12 Vdc. The output format can be configured as Volt-free or Voltaic-output.
Optional Lithium CR2032 or rechargeable V80H batteries are available for retaining the programming during the timer's operating power disconnection.
The TM-619-series digital timer is accurate to the minute and offers either 6 or 8 ON/OFF events per day. The graphic description below illustrates the ON/OFF states and programmed input.

Descriptions to Model Code
The TM-619 series models are prefixed at production with options for:
- 12H or 24H clock format
- 6 or 8 ON/OFF events per day
- Lithium CR2032 or Rechargeable V80H batteries
The suffix indicates the output type and rating:

Programming the Timer #1
A. Functional Description of Buttons
[TIMER]
: Review & setting programs.[MANUAL]
: Select "ON, AUTO, or OFF" output status.[CLOCK]
: Adjust current DAY and TIME.[DAY]
: Adjust day of the week.[HOUR]
: Adjust Hour.[MIN]
: Adjust Minute.[RESET]
: Reset Timer's settings. (Press button to reset before programming).[LED]
: Indicates ON/OFF status.
B. Adjusting Clock
Press and hold [CLOCK]
, then press [DAY]
, [HOUR]
, and [MIN]
keys respectively to set the accurate DATE, HOUR, and MINUTE. In 12-Hour format, PM/AM indicators will appear on the LCD screen. In 24-Hour format, the LCD screen will show 0:00~23:59.
C. Starting to Program the Timer
- Press
[TIMER]
key. The LCD screen will show "1 ON". - Press
[DAY]
key to select any of the 15 Daily-Program combinations for your application. Continue pressing[DAY]
to cycle through the combinations. - Press
[HOUR]
and[MIN]
keys to set the desired Hour and Minute for the 1st ON time. - After setting the 1st ON time, press
[TIMER]
key again. The LCD screen will show "1 OFF". - Press
[DAY]
key to select the same Daily-Program combination used for the ON time. - Repeat programming procedure "3" to set the desired Hour and Minute for the 1st OFF time.
- When finished setting the 1st ON and 1st OFF times, press
[TIMER]
. The LCD screen will show "2 ON". - Repeat programming procedures above to set the rest of the ON/OFF program periods (events). You can set up to 6 or 8 ON/OFF events as needed.
- When finished with program setting, press
[CLOCK]
. The Timer will start executing programs.
D. To Review Programs
Keep pressing the [TIMER]
key. The LCD screen will display each of the 6 or 8 ON/OFF programs sequentially.

E. How to Use OVERRIDE Functions
The TM-619 programming-mode Timer is designed with 2 Override functions to widen its usage for practical applications. Override functions are effective only when the Timer is running under AUTO mode.
Temporary Override
Follow the procedure below:
- Condition 1: When Timer's output status is "ON". Press
[MANUAL]
key to move the indicator from "AUTO" to "OFF". The Timer output will turn to "OFF" status, overriding programs. Pressing[MANUAL]
again to switch the Timer status back to "AUTO" will maintain the "OFF" status. The Timer will resume automatic operation when the next program event calls for "ON". - Condition 2: When Timer's output status is "OFF". Press
[MANUAL]
key to move the indicator from "AUTO"to"ON". The Timer output will turn to "ON" status, overriding programs. Pressing[MANUAL]
again to switch the Timer status back to "AUTO" will maintain the "ON" status. The Timer will resume automatic operation when the next program event calls for "OFF".
Random Start-Up Override
Press and hold the [DAY]
key and then press the [MIN]
key. A symbol will appear on the left corner of the LCD screen to indicate this Override is executing.
When this Override is active, original programs are stopped. Once every 10 to 120 minutes, the Timer will automatically turn its output to "ON" status.
In practical applications, this function is also known as the Anti-Burglar Override.
To terminate this Override, press and hold the [DAY]
key again and then press the [MIN]
key.

The output terminal of the Timer is produced with a Flat-head Jack-Type socket to provide convenient electrical wiring upon mounting the Timer on equipment.
Subject to output formats and Contact Rating formats, there are 3 different styles in the TM-619 series.
Remark:
- For voltage and electrical RATING information, please refer to the markings on the back of the timer.
- See the back of the timer for proper wire connections.
- The Timer may need to be connected to a power source in order to set the program.
