Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Setup (DS-575W II)
Follow these steps if you encounter issues connecting your scanner wirelessly.
- Network Credentials: Your network name (SSID) and password are case-sensitive. Ensure correct entry of uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Network Connection: If the scanner does not connect automatically, manually select the same network your computer is connected to.
- Frequency Band: The scanner supports 2.4 GHz connections. If your router offers both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensure the 2.4 GHz band is enabled and connect to it.
- Device Connection: If your computer is connected to the 5 GHz band, connect it to the 2.4 GHz band for scanner setup. This helps the scanner connect automatically later.
- Router Restart: Turn your router off and on again, then repeat the software installation process.
